Veteran actor, Emeka Ike Citing himself, he added that whatever a woman says is easily believable and many people fall for it, which is really sad. In his words: “Many pple fall for it. This is the exact case with my estranged wife. They will character assassinate you, misrepresent you, play the victim & lie so much & bleed over their own lies. The society hates men. Woman falls victim to fake bank employee in Nigerian Bank

Fake Bank Staff Woman Nigerian Bank

A woman has recently shared a distressing account on her social media platform, recounting how her mother fell victim to a scam artist who pretended to be a bank employee at a prominent Nigerian bank. According to her, the mother contacted her immediately after the devastating incident, leaving her overwhelmed with guilt as she, being the eldest child, was unable to provide immediate assistance to her mother during this crisis.

Her statement “Four days ago, I received news that turned my entire world upside down. My mum called me, crying uncontrollably and talking gibberish.” “That in itself was so strange because my mum rarely cries. When I managed to calm her down a bit, everything stolen from her by the men in the pictures below. My mummy was bawling like a baby and nothing I was saying was getting through to her.” “She was talking incoherently and in that moment I was truly afraid that she was going to go bonkers. I tried encouraging her, telling her that money was transient and could always be made back.”

“I’m not sure I got through to her at all. I ended the call and began to rack my brain thoroughly, uppermost in my mind.” “What can I do to fix this? I felt responsible. I am a first child, I should be able to fix this, to wipe these tears off my mother’s face. But there was nothing I could do for her. I, a recent graduate, trying to find my feet in the world, where would I get millions to replace what she’d lost?” “I did the only thing that makes sense to me in chaos, I turned to Abba. I opened my mouth and nothing came out tears just kept rolling down my face, where would we begin?” “But then, I did something I learnt through tribulations. I gave thanks to the giver of all things. I sincerely gave thanks through the tears and pain. God gave, and he can give again.” “And I prayed for peace and consolation for my mum. This was the most important thing at the moment. And God did give her peace and calm in the eye of the storm. My mom who was talking incoherently for straight two days is calm now and we’re trusting God for the best.”

“I have a plea though. I know it’s a long shot and that the pictures aren’t very clear, but we’re trying to find these men. Even if we can’t recover what they stole, they need to pay for their crimes. Someone you know might know them so please.” “Ps: if you’re dating a fraudster, are friends with a fraudster, defend a fraudster, or make excuses for them; I hope you know that this is the pain and desolation that they wreck on lives and entire families.” “It’s Access bank please. She uses both banks and I mixed it up. It was an honest mistake that I didn’t notice on time.” SEE POST:

Why Nnamdi Kanu is victim of false imprisonment by FG ― Lawyer

Why Nnamdi Kanu is victim of false imprisonment by FG ― Lawyer

The Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has stated that his client and Biafra agitator is a victim of false imprisonment by the Federal Government. Aloy Ejimakor made the remark on Thursday while stressing that Kanu was not under any charge before any court.

Why Nnamdi Kanu is victim of false imprisonment by FG ― Lawyer

Nnamdi Kanu and his counsels in court In a statement he signed, Ejimakor reiterated that Kanu’s release was not an act of mercy. The statement reads partly: “To be sure, Nnamdi Kanu’s fate does not lie in this appeal alone because the appeal is but one of the several cases that were triggered – municipally and internationally – by the extraordinary rendition, and all the cases are independent, of equal stature and aimed at securing Nnamdi Kanu’s release. “Therefore, the different moments in time when two of these several cases, in particular – the one initiated at the Federal High Court and the one initiated at the United Nations (both of which have concurrent jurisdiction over the rendition), were determined in favor of Nnamdi Kanu, the narrative that freeing him lies exclusively in the hands of the Supreme Court is fundamentally false. It is also malicious, prejudicial and profoundly injurious to Nnamdi Kanu’s legal interest, especially as it offers the authorities the umbrage and easy political cover to persist in the illegal detention of Nnamdi Kanu. “Finally, it needs to be emphasized that for the obvious reason that Nnamdi Kanu is neither currently facing any trial, nor does he have any charges standing against him, his detention is – in reality – an imprisonment without conviction. In plain terms, he is a victim of false imprisonment by the State. A rough and tough imprisonment that is more horrendous when the locale is not a prison or a correctional institution but a hideous DSS cell, which is no different from a dank police cell or even worse in some ramifications.”

“I don’t want to go back to Nigeria” – Victim reacts as UK court sentences Ekweremadu, others to jail

Ike Ekweremadu

Former Deputy Senate President of Nigeria, Ike Ekweremadu, has been sentenced to nine years and eight months imprisonment for plotting to harvest a man’s kidney, along with his wife, Beatrice, who was sentenced to four years and six months imprisonment. A medical doctor, Dr Obinna Obeta, was also sentenced to 10 years imprisonment. They were found guilty of conspiring to arrange the travel of a young man with the intention of exploiting him for his body part. In a letter addressed to the court, the victim revealed his shock upon discovering the reason for the trip was to harvest his organs to give to Ekweremadu’s daughter, Sonia. He said he was approached with an opportunity to work in the UK, something he had “always dreamed of but never thought would happen.” The victim said he was lured to the United Kingdom under the pretense of job opportunity in the country. He added that he could not return to Nigeria because he worries for his safety. The victim claimed someone visited his father in Nigeria and asked him to get the victim, his son, to drop the case. “He [Dr Obinna Obeta] did not tell me he brought me here for this reason, he did not tell me anything about this. I would have not agreed to any of this, my body is not for sale,” the victim said. He told the police he did not want to claim compensation from the “bad people” as it would be “cursed and bad luck”. The victim also revealed his humble background in a Lagos village where he is the oldest of seven siblings living in a home without electricity or running water. He was forced to become a street trader full time, moving to the city to provide for his family when his father fell ill with a heart problem. He sold mobile phone accessories from a wheelbarrow making at most £7 a day and as little as 50p. The victim’s impact statement was read in court on Friday. He claimed his body parts were “not for sale”, and he would not have agreed to the trip if he had known the true reason for it. The victim’s safety concerns remain, as he fears for his life if he were to return to Nigeria.
