A young man has shared a personal story regarding his father’s near-death situation, which occurred on March 9th, 2000, when he had drowned. Despite undergoing various attempts to revive him, he was declared dead. However, due to limited mortuary space, his body was temporarily placed outside the mortuary. Surprisingly, on March 12th, 2000, his father was resuscitated, and has been alive ever since. @ibedex_1 wrote: “My dad drowned in a river 9th March 2000, he was confirmed [email protected]… after so many trials to revive him back, but to no avail…. he was then carried to a mortuary… arriving at the mortuary there was no space, everywhere was filled up…. he was kept outside of the mortuary… “Lo and behold on the 12th of March 2000, my dad was restored back to life by God almighty… miracles do happen &, long story short… my dad is still alive till today.” See the post below:

Nollywood actor, Linc Edochie has released a statement following the death of his nephew, Kambilichukwu Edochie, the son of Yul Edochie.
In a video posted on his official Instagram account, Edochie expressed his gratitude to his supporters for their encouragement during this difficult time and inquired about the well-being of everyone. He also reflected on the past couple of days as being emotionally draining and traumatizing. Despite this, Edochie maintained a hopeful attitude and expressed his gratitude to God in accordance with biblical teachings. Notably, he made a profound statement that evil has an expiry date, which can be interpreted as a message of hope that negative events will come to an end eventually.

Portable arrested by police, to spend days in detention
Ogun state police command has arrested the controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable after his initial resistance.
It would be recalled that the singer had raised alarm after the officers came to his bar to whisk him away. He had demanded to know why the wanted to arrest him and refused to follow the men to their station. Portable had later claimed that the officers had been sent by a Yahoo boy who wanted him arrested. Following the whole drama, he was slammed with a 72 hour ultimatum which elapsed today.
It was gleaned from sources online that he has now been arrested by the police division in Ogun and is to stay in detention for 72 hours. Speaking to the press, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer verified the arrest and said that he is currently in cell at the state headquarters of the police in Eleweran, Abeokuta. He also added that the street-hop musician was arrested after disregarding five invitations.

You may recall that skit maker, Cute Abiola had taken to social media to raise alarm after the comedian’s whereabouts was unknown to his family and friends; and he had made no effort to reach out to them. Ijoba Lande’s wife had said that he had left home on Sunday night, March 26, and hadn’t returned since. However, four days later, it was reported that Ijoba Lande has been found alive and well. Nollywood actress, Kemi Korede shared a video of the moment he was brought in a car by a cleric. His family who were overwhelmed with relief broke down in tears of joy and happiness. Tonto Dikeh’s party steps down to join APC few days to election
Actress, Tonto Dikeh and her principal, Tonte Ibraye have stepped down from running for the governorship and deputy governorship position.
According to reports, Tonto Dikeh took to her social media page to announce that her party ADC was no longer in the race to run for governorship in Rivers State a day before the election. According to Tonto Dikeh, her party, ADC, has thrown its weight behind the All Progressive Congress (APC)’s candidate, Tonye Cole, and has urged her supporters to vote for Tonte Cole. Tonto Dikeh wrote: “Having carefully listened to the advice of elders and political leaders of Rivers State on the need for the opposition to look inwards and present a unified, competent, and generally acceptable candidate with the capacity to win the March 18th gubernatorial elections, and the need for the opposition to prevent splitting its votes amongst several candidates, today we officially adopted Pastor Tonye Cole, Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Rivers State as the consensus and unifying Candidate of the opposition. Upon his victory, Tonye Cole will form a unity government comprising of the APC and other opposition parties in this alliance titled “Stronger Together for a United Rivers State”. Content creator Tosin Silverdam has disclosed that he has sued controversial crossdresser Bobrisky for alleged defamation.
Recall that Bobrisky got Tosin Silverdam arrested after he alleged that the crossdresser was using his house help to shoot adult content in his room. These allegations from Tosin come after Bobrisky shared a video of his maid making out with a man in a room that looked like his room. Following the content posted by the vlogger, Bobrisky got him arrested and shared a video of Tosin in the grips of the police explaining his side of the story to them. The singer who recently had a clash with Yhemolee took to Instagram to share his experience after involvement in an accident. In a now-deleted Instastory, Carter Efe crashed his Mercedes Benz five days after splashing millions of naira to acquire the SUV. “5 days after I buy my car dem wan kill me but God pass them,” he wrote while sharing the video of the accident.

Sanwo-Olu pauses campaigns, declares 3 days mourning following train accident
Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu suspends his re-election campaigns following a tragic train accident that resulted in the loss of lives of state government workers.
On Thursday, March 9, 2023, the incident occurred when a train collided with a state government staff bus at Ikeja, while the bus was crossing the rail track to link Ikeja GRA. Siix people have, however, been confirmed dead, and several others sustained varying degrees of injuries. As a mark of respect and sympathy, the governor directed the heads of service to declare a half-day work on Friday, March 10, 2023, and has declared three days of mourning. During this period, officials of the state will visit the families of the deceased and offer their condolences.
The governor has also ordered that the Lagos State flag be flown at half-mast in honor of the victims, and his campaign will be suspended during the mourning period. Governor Sanwo-Olu also expressed his gratitude to his political rivals, the governorship candidates of the Labour Party and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour and Abdul-Azeez Adediran, for their support and solidarity during this difficult time. He praised them for not politicizing the incident. The Federal Government has also ordered an investigation into the accident through the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB).
