Rep Muktar Shagaya representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency of Kwara state has assured his people that he will not feast on the people’s resources but would rather strive to make a difference as a member of the 10th House of Representatives that will outlive his tenure. The newly sworn-in 33-year-old member said this in Abuja at the inauguration dinner in his honour.

Rep Muktar Shagaya (APC-Kwara) Muktar Shagaya his election signalled the beginning of a new chapter in the journey toward progress, development, and prosperity of his constituency and the country at large. He said, “This is a chapter in our nation-building where our collective power as citizens forges a path of inclusive governance, transparency, and accountability.” He commended his supporters for their invaluable support and presence, adding that, “my hope is that we navigate this journey together, guided by the values that define us and create a lasting legacy of service to others.” ” I am immensely honoured and grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I vow to serve with utmost dedication, integrity, and passion.” He commended the Kwara State Governor, Malam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, his family and critical stakeholders for their unwavering support He urged his constituents to draw strength from its shared values and common purpose and vow to work together to improve the lives of his constituents. Popular TV host, Rufai Oseni has posed some thought-provoking questions to the newly-elected politicians who have clinched various positions in the 2023 elections.

The broadcaster, who’s known for his fiery method of presenting, posed questions to some politicians who had carried out various electoral malpractices and intimidation to secure their current positions. Rufai asked to know if these various politicians had won the confidence and approval of the governed, or whether what they had succeeded in attaining is the fear, intimidation and the disgust of the people that they seek to rule. He urged them to check their conscience as the past would always appear before their eyes on their last days on earth, and whether or not they’d be proud of what they had done would depend on their present actions. Divorcee pastor vows to ban condoms if elected president

A Ghanaian pastor by the name, Christian Kwabena Andrew, the founder of Life Assembly Worship Center, has declared his intention to ban condoms if he becomes president. The cleric who is running for presidency under Ghana Union Movement Party said this while speaking in an interview on Dawdne TV.

In the video, he opined that the use of condoms is useless since diseases contracted can be treated in hospitals. He added that wearing it would only defeat the purpose of intimacy. Amused by this, the host asked if he would ban the importation of condoms if elected president while also informing him that there’s no cure for HIV/AIDS.

The pastor had gone viral after he revealed, while preaching, that his wife had left him after he fathered a child with another woman. Reports have also revealed that his wife who told her side of the story disclosed that he’s a hardcase lecher who beds every woman that comes his way, including his church members.
