BBTitans Nana shares how she entered street, got pregnant and became bisexual
Big Brother Naija Titan’s housemate Nana bore it all in a conversation on how she became a streeter, a dropout, and a bisexual. Nana shared a heartbreaking story of how she had to drop out of school when she was in level 300 because of a lack of support from her family members. According to her, her father always described her as a mistake and was forced to the street where she became pregnant and also bisexual. The 22-year-old housemate while speaking to her other colleague housemates said; “I was in the 300 level when I had to drop out. I cried a lot because of this. This made me go through a lot. I had to take care of myself. I don’t owe my mum anything because I was in the street way too early, bringing things home, she never asked me how or where I got them from. My father has never been proud of me. Uttering a statement like I’m a mistake.” “I was six months pregnant and didn’t know. I didn’t go for antenatal. The baby died and was decaying in me. My aunt took me to the hospital and lied that I had an infection. I was relaxed, my mom said I passed out five times. I don’t know how the doctors did it that my womb is still intact. I have to do a lot of dirty and nasty things because of my parents’ negligence. I dropped out from school in 300 level because there was no one to train me.” “Because I want money I’ve met a lot of men in “different sizes”, so even if you’re what, I’ve met your size, so just do the f#ck and stand up. Man I don’t enjoy sex, I don’t feel and it got fucked up when I had to start doing women, you know when I said I’m bisexual.”
Ratcliffe reveals he has formally entered race to buy Manchester United
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the billionaire owner of petrochemicals firm, INEOS, has announced that he has officially entered the race to buy Premier League club, Manchester United. The British billionaire and lifelong Manchester United fan is now expected to make an offer to United owners, the Glazer family, who outlined their willingness to sell the Premier League club in November. A spokesperson for Ratcliffe told The Times: “We have formally put ourselves into the process (of buying United).” Ineos has entered the bidding process to buy Manchester United. “We have formally put ourselves into the process of bidding”, spokesman has told Times Sport’s @DickinsonTimes 🔴 #MUFC Sir Jim Ratcliffe is the first one to go public — with other groups now also interested. pic.twitter.com/MD6q2zZefx — Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) January 17, 2023 Those interested in buying the club, have to register with Raine Group, the bank handling the sale of the club for the Glazer family. This is also coming at a time Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag and his players have delivered a remarkable upturn on the pitch. Ratcliffe had previously indicated his interest to buy the club. However, INEOS said last summer that it was no longer interested in bidding for any Premier League club and would, instead, focus its attention on French team Nice, which it already owns.
That position has changed now that United’s American owners, the Glazer family, are prepared to sell. Late tycoon Malcolm Glazer bought United in 2005 for 790 million pounds (then about $1.4 billion). Ratcliffe also made a late bid to buy Chelsea last year when former owner Roman Abramovich put the London club up for sale. A consortium led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital eventually secured a deal worth 2.5 billion pounds ($3 billion) for Chelsea, which also included a commitment of 1.75 billion pounds ($2 billion) of further investment.
Ratcliffe was born in Greater Manchester and has a pedigree in owning sports teams. Listed 27th on the 2022 Sunday Times Rich List with a net worth of over £6 billion ($7.4bn), he is the founder and CEO of chemicals company INEOS, which sponsors the Mercedes AMG Formula One team and owns the INEOS Grenadiers cycling team.
What I saw when I entered Osinachi’s house – Women Affairs Minister
Women Affairs Minister, Dame Pauline Tallen, has shared her experience after visiting the home of late singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu.
According to Dame Pauline, she had visited the Abuja home of the deceased to identify with the traumatized children who were still heartbroken over their mother’s death.
“When I came into the compound, I saw the children, four beautiful children; three boys, one girl. He (Peter) had told the children that they should not speak about the things that have been happening in the house.
I came in with all the directors in the ministry. When I was asking questions, I saw that the children were not forthcoming. I excused everyone and said I wanted to have a one-on-one with the children.
I first spoke with the first son. I asked him, ‘Do you love your mother?’ He said, ‘Yes’. ‘Has your mummy taught you to tell lies?’ He said, ‘Yes’. I asked him if she is still alive and he said she is dead.
I asked him, “Do you know that she is now your angel and she is now watching you?’ He said, ‘Yes’. ‘So, it will be very sad if you tell lies’.
“I introduced myself and I told him the President is concerned, every Nigerian is concerned, we all join them to mourn Osinachi’s death but what we want from him is the truth.
“Then he opened up. He said that their dad used to beat their mom and their mom was always sad. He would beat her and flog her. He said their father would gather them in the room and be beating them and if the mom comes into the room to stop him, he would turn back on her and beat her up. And that has always been the case.
“The children said it was their mom that runs around on her gospel music, comes back with her money. In fact, if the money is paid through (a) bank account, it was paid into his account.
“She has no account of her own, any money she has, he collects it and gives her just peanut for feeding and when she cooks, he started shouting and beating her. And their mom was living in fear and was always sad.
“It was such a horrible story from a young boy that is said to be just 12. I asked him what class he is and he said Class Five. At the age of 12? I said, ‘Why?’ And he said he can’t even read. So, mentally, this child is already destroyed.
“I was battling with tears and when he finished, I called on the second son. The second son repeated the same horrible situation as well as the third son.”
