A Nigerian man could not control his anger after seeing a woman on the road begging with her triplets. In a video, the furious man revealed how he had gone the extra mile to bless her with cash and even rented a shop and a house for her when he first saw her.

After carrying out philanthropic acts for the woman, she promised never to take her triplets to the roadside to beg for alms anymore. However, the Nigerian man identified as Sunday Brave on TikTok got so furious when he saw the woman again with an umbrella begging on the street. He called her an ungrateful soul as he expressed his anger while people gathered to watch in shock. Budding Afropop singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David a.k.a Spyro has purchased two houses at once, for himself and his business partner.

He took to his Instagram page to make the announcement as he shared photos of himself signing the deeds of ownership. The budding singer who had hit the limelight after dropping his hit single ‘Who’s Your Guy’, revealed that he had also purchased a house for his business partner.

Marveling over meteoric rise to stardom, he said that he had moved from zero to owning a property, noting that God has been good to him. In his words: “From Zero to owning a property…ah I #COUNTMYBLESSINGS big time. I didn’t just buy for myself. I bought the opposite unit for my business partner too. GOD has been good and kind to me.”

16-year-old boy shot in the head after ringing bell of wrong house in Kansas city

A homeowner in Kansas City, America shot and injured a 16-year-old boy, Ralph Yarl, who mistakenly went to the wrong home to pick up his siblings.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting on the evening of April 13 and arrived to find a teenager who had been shot by a homeowner outside a residence, according to Kansas City Police. Yarl was hit in the head and arm and is currently in stable condition at a hospital.

Following the incident, protesters took to the streets chanting “Justice for Ralph” and “Black lives matter” while holding signs that read “Ringing a doorbell is not a crime” and “The shooter should do the time.” Yarl’s family has retained civil rights attorneys S. Lee Merritt and Benjamin Crump. The homeowner, whose identity remains undisclosed, was taken into custody but released pending further investigation to gather more forensic evidence and a formal statement from the victim.

House of Representatives majority leader, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, wins re-election bid

The Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa wins the Tudun Wada/Doguwa Constituency seat of Kano State.

Doguwa bagged the federal seat following a supplementary election held on Saturday in the area. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s returning officer Professor Sani Ibrahim announced the results, saying the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate got 41, 573 votes. His closest opponent and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) flagbearer Yushau Salisu polled 34,831 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 211. A breakdown of the voter register showed that 227, 912 persons were registered, and 80, 933 got accreditation. But after Saturday’s exercise, the total votes cast was 79, 705; valid votes were 78,788, and rejected ballots amounted to 917. Doguwa will be serving his fifth term when the 10th assembly is inaugurated in June. This is coming weeks after he was arrested for alleged m¥rder on Election Day in Kano.
