Late Pastot Runcie Mike The Pastor whose church is located at the Shopping Mall, Tropicana Centre, Uyo was said to have died after a brief sickness on Saturday, July 1, in Uyo, according to The Nation report. However, when the news broke, many of the church members thought it was fake news, but the leadership of the church later confirmed the sad development. The church announced, “In this time of grief, we enjoin the body of Christ to hold us up in prayers and most especially, His immediate family”. Pastor Runcie Mike is survived by a wife and two children. In other news, a celestial prophet has given Pastor David Ibiyeomie 14 days to apologize for his comment about celestial churches. The prophet, who identified himself as a “Bonafide celestial prophet,” stated that Pastor Ibiyeomie made a terrible mistake and that he needs to apologize to the celestial community. This is coming after pastor Ibiyeomie confessed during a sermon that he does not like white garment churches. During the service, the televangelist stated that he despises that particular denomination because of their worship style. Ibiyeomie warned his congregation that if people knew what they do in their churches, they would despise the Celestial Church of Christ. Reacting to this, a celestial prophet reiterated that if Pastor Ibiyeomie did not apologize within 14 days, he would “visit our God.” He said; “I am saying that I want to speak to Mr or Pastor David Ibiyeomie, I am a Bonafide celestial prophet. One Aniekan James has been paraded by the Akwa Ibom State Police Command for the alleged killing of his only son, Odudu James, aged 35. During the parade of the suspect and 268 others apprehended for different offences, the Commissioner of Police for the state, Olatoye Durosinmi, revealed that Aniekan had purportedly taken the lives of numerous individuals in Lagos and Abia states. According to the police commissioner, the suspect was apprehended on June 16, 2023, by the Ukanafun Division operatives. “On June 16, 2023, one Aniekan James of Ikot Ndot village in Ukanafun LGA was arrested by the Ukanafun division for shooting his 35-year-old only son, Odudu James, who had been having a war of words with him. The suspect is alleged to be a habitual murderer who has committed murders in Lagos and Aba states,” he stated. Additionally, the commissioner presented the individual suspected of kidnapping the vice-chancellor of a private university, who was taken while on his way home by his former household staff. The commissioner further stated that the outstanding ransom amount, exceeding N2 million, and the Toyota Corolla employed in the abduction had been successfully retrieved. The vice-chancellor, also, has been reunited with his family. The police boss said, “On April 14, 2023, around 10.30am, the vice-chancellor of a private University in the state was kidnapped on his way home. “Two days later, being the 16th, in a prompt and discreet investigation, operatives of the anti-kidnap squad of the command arrested one Prince Thursday Okon, a former domestic worker of the VC. He was sacked because of his criminal tendencies; he then masterminded the kidnap. He was arrested along with two of his gang members, Saviour Sunday Luke and Richard Friday, all of Ikot Ebam village in Mkpan Enin LGA. “The sum of N1,270,000 cash was recovered as part of the ransom paid, while N250,000 was left in one of the suspects’ accounts. The Toyota Corolla used for the operation was also recovered. The VC has been reunited with his family.”

She begged for food during the day and in the night she slept in the abandoned house on the dirty ground. When we found her she was wearing a Chelsea football jersey many sizes too big for her. What happened to Charity during those years of struggle and immense pain belongs to the past.
Today Charity has become such a strong and Independent young women and next year she will start university. All thanks to your amazing love and support 🤎 5th of April 2013 we rescued Charity.

She said, “We wish to inform the public about an incident on our 6 pm flight from Abuja to Lagos on Friday, 31 March 2023. “A passenger stood up and began addressing other passengers in a manner considered inappropriate and unruly, as he was making other passengers nervous. “Our crew deemed his continuous unruly behavior unsafe and called on airport security to help with the situation. Upon his refusal to stop or disembark peacefully, the security operatives were left with no choice but to forcefully disembark the passenger as a last option. “We are aware that several videos and reports of this incident are circulating on social media and wish to provide the right perspective. “Ibom Air wishes to assure our passengers that we maintain very high safety and service standards and will never compromise the safety and security of our passengers. “We apologize to the affected passengers for the time it took to disembark this passenger, which caused an otherwise on-time departure to be delayed by an hour.”

A female corper who identified as Nwaeze Charity Ogonnaya has reportedly lost her life while on her way to her state of deployment.
Reports gathered that the corps member who is currently serving in Akwa Ibom state lost her life getting into an accident on her way to the state.

It was confirmed that the lady embarked on the journey from Ebonyi state but met her death in Abia state on Wednesday, the 4th of January 2023.
The corper’s remains was immediately taken to her hometown as friends and family mourned her unexpected demise.
A friend of the deceased who broke the news to other corps members in the state also revealed that an unidentified person also died on the spot.
The lady added that she left the deceased at the park in Ebonyi state and boarded a different bus.
She said:
“Someone died on the spot. I don’t know her name. It’s Charity I know because I left her at the park. I entered a different bus.”
