Zenith bank replies customer who complained N4 million vanished from her account

Zenith Bank Plc has issued a statement after a female customer identified as Chiamaka Agim said she lost ₦4.039 million from her account. Reports earlier gathered that Agim had gone to the bank questioning the unapproved debit alerts she got.

Responding to the claims, a letter signed by Anyar Ikwor, Internal Control Unit, Zenith Bank noted it that can only recover a sum of N800,500 out of the missing amount. It was further reported that Ayim was called around Tuesday, 10 January 2023 by 6 pm, by a bank official who notified her during the phone conversation that the transaction was done through her e-token which meant that she must have handed out the token pin. However, Ayim denied the claims as she insisted that she has never applied for a token or has one linked to her account. N3.71 million was sent to one Isah on Monday, 9, January 2022 at 8.28 pm, the same account received another N222,900 and three minutes later Abdulraham Sani received N102,000 15 minutes late at 8.48 pm. A nurse who relocated abroad has announced her decision to return to Nigeria once she saves N20 million.
A Twitter user shared his conversation with the nurse who claimed that’s life is not easy over there in London.
The lady claimed that once she saves up to N20 million, she will come back to Nigeria and start a hustle.
She further alleged that the food in London can predispose one to cancer easily.
Reacting to this, @ksexca wrote: “She has not said why is doesn’t like the UK. If it is about the food exposing her to cancer, not true, but she should make healthy choices. She just needs to make £25K to make 20Million naira and bye Felicia. Is it not dirty money if she is trying to earn in a country she hates?”

Argentinian football legend, Lionel Messi has been raking in so much money from Instagram since winning the 2022 World Cup with his teammates.

Chelsea to sign Benoit Badiashile for £34 million

Chelsea has reportedly reached an agreement with Dutch club, Monaco, to sign Benoit Badiashile for £34 million.

The Athletic reported that the two clubs have reached a “total agreement” for the transfer of the 21-year-old French footballer, and the London-based club is now scheduling his medical ahead of an official announcement.
Badiashile who is expected to sign a long-term deal at Stamford Bridge after completing his medicals, is Chelsea’s second signing of the January window. The Blues had signed Ivorian striker Datro Fofana from Molde for a reported £10 million.

Chelsea currently sits ninth in the Premier League after 15 games and they will be hoping that Badiashile, along with other January signings, can give them fresh hope in the race for Champions League football.
It is also speculated that Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos and Argentinian midfielder Enzo Fernandez are on the English club’s radar.

Nigerian singer, Rema is on the lips of everyone on social media, after his most recent feat with his song, Calm Down.

Rema, who released the song, “Calm down” about 10 months ago scored another impressive feat after the song garnered almost 300 million views on youtube.
The song, “Calm Down” is off Rema’s debut studio album, Rave and Rose, which was released earlier in the year 2022.
The Mavin record singer also released a remix with American singer, Selena Gomez, which is already the most streamed Afro-beat song in the year 2022.
