His face did not show even a flicker of satisfaction, however, as he jogged back to the half-way line. Bayern are in the market for a new centre-forward and boss Thomas Tuchel has made Kane his number one target. Some German tabloids had reported that the Bundesliga giants had a bid of around £60 million turned down last month for the Tottenham star. Tottenham are thought to be holding out for around £100m to sell Kane this summer but he might have something to say on that. Sky’s report claims Kane is keen to seal a move to the Allianz Arena.

Source: Getty Guardian reported that Harry Kane has held positive talks with Bayern Munich over a move to the club and they remain keen to sign the 29-year-old England captain, who had also been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer before they abandoned their plans to pursue the player, having decided the money it would take to lure him from north London was unrealistic. It was gathered that Bayern are now willing to pay €80m (£68.4m) plus add-ons for the 29-year-old, who is also determined to secure a switch to the Allianz Arena this summer. Tottenham are likely to reject Bayern’s second offer as well. Despite his collection of individual awards, Kane will turn 30 later this month without having won a single major trophy with Spurs, who have gone 15 years without silverware since clinching the 2007-08 EFL Cup.
