Khloe vows to sue podcast as she claims to appreciate natural hair
Reality TV star, Koko by Khloe has addressed backlash following her controversial opinion on natural hair on the Bad and Boujee podcast. The ex-housemate has been under heat from many Netizens after she opined that natural hair should not be worn to public places. Retracting the statement, Khloe claims that she actually praised natural hair but the show host wanted her to say something controversial for views. Reality TV Star, Koko by Khloe. She further promised to sue the podcast as she had initially begged them to change the content and she was promised adjustments would be made but they chose to leave it that way to malign her image. In her words; “I support natural hair and I have nothing against it, as have it myself, and so does my sister, mother and majority of my friends. I never spoke negatively about it, I only shared my personal view/ opinion on wearing it every day. In fact, I did praise natural hair, but the show hosts wanted something more controversial for views and at my detriment. Even the producer was concerned people would think I was against natural hair, So I suggest we changed topics to avoid causing harm. The producer promised to address the issue later and alter the narrative. One of the hosts complained to the producer that why is she making me conscious of what we were saying, which made me realize the true nature of the show. Regarding the show and the producers, I’ll be getting back to you, but this time my anger is that I previously stated and pleaded (with receipts) that I no longer want my face on the show and I don’t want to be associated with a particular individual on it, but my requests were overlooked and my consent completely disregards. Ild also be taking actions in this regards. I Apologies to my natural hair girlies and community, I didn’t mean to slight or disrespect anyone in anyway.. I advocate for beauty at every standard.. I understand that the show and blogs need to cater to their audience, but I refuse to be used as another punching bag for their malicious and vile strategy/ objectives. I am so sorry 🙏❤️
Forgive me Gang😍” See post below
Your natural hair is good for church, don’t bring it to my event
BBNaija reality star, Koko by Khloe condemns natural hair and moderate makeup while emphasizing avenues where such are permitted. During a recent interview on Bhad and Boujee hosted by OAP Moet Abebe and Tolanibaj, the reality star condemned women’s natural hair.
When asked about her take on natural hair and wigs, Khloe affirmed that the former is only good when within the house and neighbourhood. While bashing women who prefer to be minimalist with their makeup, the former BBNaija housemate further added that wigs are a better option, particularly for events. In her words, “Your natural hair is good for church programs, pick your kids at school, but don’t bring it to my event. Why would I want to wear an expensive outfit, at least, I’d do a ponytail. They do something that pisses me off, they will now do small makeup saying they are minimalists.” Watch the video below … “Don’t bring your natural hair to my event” – #BBNaija alumnus, Khloe Koko pic.twitter.com/3ScONsO4yx — 🐬 @𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗷𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗯𝗼𝘆 (@OneJoblessBoy) December 8, 2023

Annie Idibia showers encomium on Adesua Etomi as she dumps wig for natural hair to an event (Video)
Popular Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia, drums support for a colleague, Adesua Etomi, who rocked her natural hair to an event instead of a wig.
Adesua had taken to the image-sharing platform, Instagram, to share a video of herself on her natural hair made into a gorgeous cornrow hairstyle.
Expressing the importance of appreciating one’s natural qualities rather than wearing artificial, e.g. wig, Banky W’s wife wrote;
“I’ve been wearing cornrows a lot lately on purpose. I feel like my most authentic self when i wear braids, plaits or when I wear my hair out. If you’ve followed me closely, you’d know what I mean. You’d know this isn’t new.
In general, I believe in keeping it simple. Whether it’s from my clothes, to my hair, to my lifestyle. I’m saying this cause every now and then someone tries to turn the word ‘simple’ to mean something negative.
So I, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, am out here, holding it down for the simple girls.
The ones who rock cornrows, the minimalists…
I hope you look at me and feel pride KNOWING that these rows our ancestors wore are still a thing to be proud of.
Adesua Etomi continues, “I hope you see me and rocks yours with pride if you want to but above all, may you know that you are more than your hair no matter how you choose to wear it and more than your clothes, no matter what styles you choose to wear.
I do this for the girls deemed ‘too simple’. There is not a single thing wrong with simplicity. We may be ‘simple’ but there is not a single thing simple about us. Raise your glass if you are a SG 🥂
This isn’t about style and hair as much as it is about being yourself. Saying this so you stop questioning who you are. Embrace it. It’s ok. It’s more than ok, It’s great.”
In reaction, Annie Idibia fully backs the singer’s wife as she adds her two cents on the need to drop some common practices.
“Every word sooooo true… I Carry my low cut .. n melanin dark skin with so much pride n head up high 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 ( no MORE wigs n unnatural hair for me)May we wear our hair n teach our kids to love their natural kinky hair n beautiful brown/dark /Carmel /albino skin with PRIDE !
Yup cheers to All the S.Gs u r amazing 🤩
Well said Susu 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾,” 2Face Idibia‘s wife wrote.
“Women with ‘fake bumbum’ are in happier relationships than women with natural bodies” – Pretty Mike
Popular Lagos socialite, Pretty Mike, stirs controversy with a claim that women with surgically enhanced bodies have better relationships than their counterparts.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, the controversial party guest stated that regardless of natural beauty, men would choose a surgically enhanced body because of its attractiveness.
Adding to his point, Pretty Mike discouraged the stigma on women who undergo surgical operations to have their bodies tuned.
“I’m speaking the language of facts when I say women with surgically enhanced bodies aka “Fake bumbum” are in better and happier relationships than women with natural bodies.
Plastic or not, they still get the best pick in men and naturally know how to sustain their relationships. They understand that men are interested by what they see first and they take full advantage of that, if not why are women getting more BBLs and breast augmentation instead of PhDs? You sef think am! It’s not rocket science…
All that new confidence and corky personality from getting a new body is sexy af! men love and stay for it.
It’s good to love your body, but I’m pretty sure there’s some part you wished were bigger or rounder (don’t lie).…. why not correct it?… if you can’t afford it, “Stop bad mouthing it and discouraging those that can or are saving toward it 👏👏…. Hmmm maybe I should do free Liposuction giveaway 🧐 🙌🏼
Anyways all I’m saying is just have a open mind, the world is changing fast, don’t be left behind.. “come to think of it, Has anyone here seen an all Lepa get together be4, No, they can’t even stand themselves like that, and the ones with natural big bumbum, feels so intimidated whenever a lady with a lipo bum walks past by and there Husband/Bf/sugarDaddy is right there 🤣😎…,” he wrote.
