PSG star, Lionel Messi, has been immortalized in his home country Argentina, as a training camp for the national football team has been renamed after him.

Head of the Argentine Football Association, Chiqui Tapia, made the announcement on Saturday, March 25. Believe claimed that he signed a contract with James and paid him in full but the crossdresser has been trying to be dubious. Frederick Leonard reacts following arrest of man who impersonated him to scam women

Actor Frederick Leonard has reacted to the arrested of a man who impersonated him and scammed a woman of N104m by EFCC. The imposter has been identified as Kelvin Aisosa Orhue. He was arrested by EFCC and arraigned before the FCT High Court in Kuje. He is said to have duped a lady, called Cheryldene Cook of N104 million while using Frederick Lenoard’s identity. The imposter has pleaded guilty and was also convicted and sentenced to one-year imprisonment with the option of paying a fine of N1,000,000 (one million Naira) only. Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer reacts as IPOB is rated 10th deadliest terrorist group

Aloy Ejimakor, the legal representative of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), responds to reports that the group has been ranked as the 10th deadliest terrorist organization globally.

The Global Terrorism Index had recently placed IPOB as the 10th deadliest terror group worldwide in 2022, attributing 57 deaths to the group from 40 attacks with 16 injured persons. Ejimakor dismissed the claim by the Global Terror Index, stating that it is untrue. He clarified that IPOB was only included in the index report because the Nigerian government had labelled it as a terrorist group. In a tweet, Ejimakor emphasized that a terrorist group like IPOB cannot be registered. “It’s FALSE that IPOB is now ranked the 10th deadliest terrorist group in the world by the Global Terror Index. IPOB was only mentioned as having been declared a terrorist group in Nigeria. IPOB is registered. Terrorist groups can’t be registered. If you try, you will be arrested,” he wrote.

Southampton has reacted to the racist abuse Kyle Walker-Peters was subjected to during the 0-0 draw with Manchester United on Sunday, March 12.

In spite of the draw, Southampton is just two points from safety and five behind 12th-place Crystal Palace with 12 matches to go. After the match was concluded, Kyle Walker-Peters suffered an array of racist abuse on Instagram. The 25-year-old had not posted for a week, but some individuals went onto his last post to insult the right-back. Having received an array of racist messages in the form of language and monkey emojis, Walker-Peters was also targeted with other types of hate, which included posts that wished him injury. Comments were visible on Walker-Peters’ Instagram account for over eight hours and were still on there on Monday morning. Southampton condemned the racist abuses in a statement released on Monday, March 13. It read; “In February 2021 the club made a statement about one of our young players receiving abhorrent racial abuse following a match against Manchester United.

“More than two years on, we find ourselves in the exact same position: disgusted and disappointed in the behaviour of those online who lower themselves to abusing players for the colour of their skin. “What is equally frustrating is the lack of meaningful action in those two years from the social media platforms who allow such hatred to breed and fester. “As we have said before, Southampton Football Club fights every day to remove such people from our sport and our community in order to protect our players, our staff, Southampton fans and those football supporters around the world who recognise and celebrate the diversity that makes football special. “We have forwarded the messages concerned to Hampshire Police in keeping with our normal processes when dealing with these cases. We have also reported these posts to the social media platforms involved. “We can only hope that they finally pay attention to what continues to be a major problem and that we do not find ourselves repeating these words in another two years time.”
