Former Big Brother Naija reality star Bella Okagbue has reacted after a fan demanded a refund of the money she spent on voting for her. Recall that during a Question and Answer session by Bella held a few days ago on her story saw a fan who described the reality star as she’s rude and different from the Bella she voted for while in the house. Reacting to this, Bella asked if there was a way to pay back the votes as she was tired of such fans and their complaints. A few days after making such a comment, a fan trooped into her DM to demand a refund of the amount of N2.5 million naira she spent to vote for her while in the Big Brother house. “Good evening man, you said we should tell you how much we spent voting for you in the BBNaija house. I have checked mine. It’s N2.5 million naira. Kindly send it to this account. God bless you”. In reaction to the message, Bella hilariously responded, “I don’t know but this made me laugh”.

An anonymous journalist has alleged that Davido and his team have come to a consensus to pay at least half of the debt owed to Abu Salami. Recall that famous artist Davido came under fire from a businessman who claims to have paid him an astounding N218 million to have an impact on a project for children, but Davido has not lived up to his end of the agreement. Abusalami, a man on Instagram, disclosed that the singer has backed out of the deal, is refusing to return the money, and was allegedly harassed by the boy band and the singer’s solicitors. He disclosed on his Instagram page that, of a 326 million naira project, he had paid the singer 218 million naira. He said that on a predetermined day, he, the businessman, had to fly to twenty states with an eleven-person production crew in search of young, gifted football players, exclusively for the children.

Admission seeker extorted by Police receives refund following viral report

Sodiq Oladebo, an admission seeker who was extorted by officers attached to the Osun State Police Command, has been refunded the N20,000 that was unlawfully taken from him. The incident, which occurred while Oladebo was traveling from Osun to Benin, Edo State, was brought to light by the victim himself, prompting swift action from the authorities. Following NigezieXtreme initial report on the extortion incident, Oladebo’s brother, Suleman, confirmed to The Punch that the full amount extorted had been returned. “They have refunded it just now. My brother just called me. I commend the Nigeria Police, especially the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, and the Osun State Command’s PRO for their efforts,” Suleman revealed. The Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, had previously urged Oladebo to reach out, assuring him that she had been actively working on the matter since becoming aware of it. In a tweet, Opalola stated her commitment to resolving the issue, urging the victim to contact her. She tweeted; “Since I heard about the extortion of the admission seeker by some policemen in Osun State, I have been working seriously on the matter and of course, I have made success. I want that victim to please call or chat with me.” Recounting the incident, Oladebo explained that while traveling along the Ilesa Expressway, their vehicle was stopped at a checkpoint by police officers. After searching their bags and finding nothing incriminating, the officers intimidated Oladebo and demanded a sum of N100,000 from him, threatening to take him to the police station if he failed to comply. Having only N99,000 in his Palm Pay application, which was intended to be used for purchasing an Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) form for university admission, Oladebo eventually transferred N20,000 to a Point-of-Sale operator, as demanded by the officers. With the refund of the extorted amount, Oladebo’s ordeal has reached a satisfactory conclusion.
