Our political system is a disease, I refuse to be infected

Nollywood actor Nkem Owoh has said that the political system in Nigeria is like a ‘disease’ hence his refusal to join the train of endorsers.

One of the celebrities who have been cajoled on several occasions to endorse a political candidate and a party is actor Nkem Owoh. He refused a whooping N10 million to endorse political candidate Tinubu some months ago. During an interview with the Punch, he stated that he has refused to join politics despite being lured by many people.
According to Nkem, politics in Nigeria is like a disease, and do not want to be infected with the disease.
He said: “Giving his views on the forthcoming election, the actor said, “I will just go and vote. I have tried to reject Nigerian politics in its entirety even though I know there are still some good people inside the polity, but the system is like a diseased mesh.

“People have tried to draw me into politics but I know that if I put my head into it, I will be infected with the disease and I don’t want it. So, I prefer to stay at the flank. The country will become better when we have reasonable leadership in all directions. And soon it is going to come because I can see the rumples.

According to the narrative, the marriage has lasted for about 10 years, still, they remain adamant and unchanged.
The tweet reads:
“It is 10 years since my uncle got married to his beautiful, loving and kind wife. In 10 years, the parents of this girl have not seen their daughter or 3 grandchildren. Because my uncle is catholic and they are Jehovah witness, so the marriage shouldn’t have happened.

A week today, they left Nigeria with their children to further continue with their Medical careers. My mum, said the parents of the girl are threatening them. It is beyond hilarious for me and everything I believe in.”
