Student caught after reportedly stealing lecturer’s bag, which contained valuables, during exam and selling it for N10K. It was gathered that the incident had occured at University of Jos while the department was holding an examination.

According to a source, the students had completed their exams when the noticed that their lecturer’s bag was missing. The bag was reported to contain 18,000 naira, a laptop and several important credentials. It was learned that all the students were called back after the bag went missing, whereupon, one student, who was absent, was suspected. The source revealed that the suspected was later caught, and he confessed to stealing the bag and selling it for 10,000 naira. The following day, the father visited his wife’s workplace, and upon spotting him, the sons confronted and forcibly expelled him from the premises. According to insiders, the father returned home in anger and confiscated his sons’ car keys, provoking their fury. They physically attacked him, inflicting blows and kicks, and even injured a police officer when the father called for assistance.
