Vinicius Junior gets his first red card for slapping Hugo Duro

Real Madrid star, Vinicius Junior was shown his first La Liga red card for slapping Valencia star, Hugo Duro during a match last night. It began with Vinicius on the ball, dribbling down Real Madrid’s left side, when a second ball was thrown onto the pitch from the crowd. Valencia defender Eray Comert went to kick that ball off, and whether intentionally or not did so straight at Vinicius, striking the other ball at the forward’s feet. The result was a yellow card for Comert and a free kick for Madrid, but it didn’t end there. As Madrid prepared to take the set piece, Vinicius began pointing animatedly at a fan in the crowd behind the goal. It was obvious that something had been said. After long discussions with teammates and referee Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea, who asked if Vinicius wanted play to be suspended, the game continued, with the crowd being warned over the stadium megaphone about racist abuse. Later, in time added on, a mass brawl in the Valencia box ended with Vinicius being sent off following a red card for slapping Valencia’s Hugo Duro. There was then a further confrontation with the Valencia bench on Vinicius’ way off the pitch.

Real Madrid eventually lost the match 1-0 to Valencia. Vinicius has been subjected to racist abuse on an alarmingly regular basis in the 2022-23 campaign, with eight complaints already filed by La Liga. A video of Afrobeats star, Seun Kuti bragging about slapping policemen and getting away with it is trending online. The video surfaced hours after the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba Alkali, ordered the arrest of the singer for slapping a police officer on Third Mainland Bridge. Seun who is the son of the late Afrobeats legend, Fela Kuti, had accused the policeman of putting the life of his family in danger.

In the video which surfaced, the singer who spoke in Pidgin said; “Some of una police go slap una, una go come Instagram to explain. You know how many police I don tear slap? “They say because you be Fela pikin. You no know say na because Jesus be God pikin e fit die for you? You must know who you are before you make your move. IGP orders arrest of Seun Kuti for slapping a police officer

Following the outcry that trailed a video of Seun Kuti slapping a police officer on Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, the Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba-Usman has ordered the arrest of the Afrobeats singer. The Force spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said the police chief also ordered a speedy and full investigation into the remote and immediate cause(s) of the assault and prosecution of the suspect accordingly.

He also assured Nigerians that acts of contempt/disdain for symbols of authority will not be tolerated while offenders of such hideous crimes will be surely brought to book. The statement read; “SERIOUS ASSAULT ON POLICE OFFICER: IGP CONDEMNS ACT, ORDERS IMMEDIATE ARREST OF SEUN KUTI The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, CFR has ordered the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command to arrest Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, who was captured on video assaulting a police officer in uniform.

The IGP has equally ordered a speedy and full investigation into the remote and immediate cause(s) of the assault and prosecution of the suspect accordingly. IGP Usman Alkali Baba assures Nigerians that acts of contempt/disdain for symbols of authority will not be tolerated while offenders of such hideous crimes will be surely brought to book. Notable singer, Iyanya, stirs mixed reactions after pushing a fan off the stage during a show in Awka, Anambra State.

A video making rounds on social media captured the moment the singer cautioned the fan spraying him money. Iyanya, however, pushed him off the stage for persistently slapping his face with it. Taking to Twitter to address the circumstance, the singer stated that it was uncomfortable for him but the fan refused to act accordingly.

“The guy kept slapping my face with the money and I tried to hold his hand and he continued. First no matter how much you are spraying, don’t slap someone with it, that’s disrespectful,” he wrote.

Empress Njamah’s ‘fiance’ tells side of story; admits to slapping, and seizing her passport

Josh Wade, the supposed fiancé of popular Nollywood actress Empress Njamah, has broken his silence following allegations leveled against him by her.
Recall that the actress had taken to social media to cry out over being blackmailed by a supposed scammer who was in possession of her videos.

In an exclusive interview with Linda Ikeji’s Blog, Josh Wade admitted that he had slapped the actress and seized her passport because she owes him 450,000 dollars and would have jet off to US.
He disclosed that she and the actress got engaged on the 18th of August, and he had proposed to her with a ring worth, $49,800.
Josh also admitted he’s in control of her Instagram account and was the one who posted her engagement video.
He claimed that after they had issues, she ran off to her brothers place, alleging also that the actress and her brother have been scamming people and had thought their scam would work on him too.

Moment Beatrice attempted slapping Maria after she slutshamed her (Video)

Reality stars, Maria Chike and Beatrice Nwaji were caught in an intense argument during the previous episode (16th June) of the Big Brother Reunion show.

A lady identified as Tolani on Twitter has narrated her experience with her ex boyfriend after he slapped her.
Tolani in a series of tweets, revealed how she immediately wiped him with an old palm slippers and ran away.
