Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly reportedly sacked Thomas Tuchel just days after he was denied the opportunity to take a group of guests into the dressing room. 
TalkSPORT reported that this took place in September during Chelsea’s 2-1 win against West Ham at Stamford Bridge. The match in question was Tuchel’s last as Chelsea manager in the Premier League, with the score level at half-time. It was gathered that Boehly wanted to give a group of guests including children a personal tour at half-time of the game but was denied entry to the dressing room by the manager who was angry with his players. The American thereafter returned to his seat up in the directors’ box. Tuchel was relieved of his duties just days later after a defeat to Dinamo Zagreb. The German who has since returned to the Bundesliga to manage Bayern Munich was replaced by former Brighton coach, Graham Potter.
The club has now gone down on the league table with Potter also sacked following his inability to get a tune out of a huge squad. Frank Lampard who was appointed as interim manager, has also gone winless in his first 4 games in charge. It was also learnt that Boehly has now made going to the dressing room a regular occurrence, with the club in desperate need of an upturn in form from somewhere. Chelsea are now out of the Champions League and have now shifted their focus to getting more points in the Premier League while searching for a new permanent manager.
The Blues defeated Manchester City to win the Champions League in 2021, few months after Tuchel was appointed as manager of the team. Cancelo who was one of the regular starters at Manchester City at the time, is now hoping to create more positive memories in 2023 with his new boss. 
The Bayern Munich star who spoke to Sport TV after helping Portugal get a 4-0 victory over Liechtenstein in their opening game of Euro 2024 qualification, said; “I’ve only found out now. I know I won’t find Nagelsmann when I return to Munich. He wanted me at Bayern, I’d like to thank him. As for Tuchel, he made me lose a Champions League final, so I hope he will win it for me this year!” 
Nagelsmann was axed after Bayern lost 2-1 at Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Sunday, March 19, allowing Dortmund to move to the top of the Bundesliga table. The 35-year-old took charge in 2021 and led Bayern to their 10th German title in a row last season, but they have been unable to replicate that form, and the hierarchy have acted ahead of the Champions League quarter-finals next month. Popular journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Bayern already has a full agreement in place with Tuchel, with final documents being prepared on Thursday night.
