Cardi B reacts as husband, Offset publicly accuses her of infidelity

Popular rapper, Cardi B, has reacted after her husband, Offset, went public to lay heavy accusations of infidelity on her. In an Instagram post shared via his official Instagram account, Offset claimed that his wife slept with a man behind his back. “My wife fcked a nigga on me gang yall nigga know how I come,” Offset said. In her response on Twitter space, Cardi B made a song out of her reply, suggesting that her husband was accusing her of the same thing he does. The couple has had a tumultuous relationship in the past, with several public breakups and reconciliations. Just a few days ago, Cardi B had said that if she ever divorced her husband, she would make hit songs out of the experience. She added that she would marry another rich man if they divorced. Charly Boy accuses record company of breaching contract signed 35 yrs ago

Veteran entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has threatened to sue Premier Records Limited over alleged violation of terms of an agreement in musical contracts signed about 35 years ago. He made this known in a letter written to the record label by his lawyer, Mr Rockson Igelige, which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja.

Charly Boy In the letter dated June 19, 2023, the lawyer said Charly Boy had signed Artists Recording Contracts with the company in 1988, 1990 and also recently. He, however, alleged that the contracts had since expired, but Premier Records was still breaching his client’s copyrights to the musical works. “On our client’s instructions, we demand that your company hand over our client’s master tapes, artworks, promo collateral for the music and other relevant and confidential information with your company within 30 days of the date of this letter. “We also demand your company’s payment of our client’s outstanding royalties,” the letter read in parts. According to Igelige, the albums affected included, the one recorded in 1990 containing songs such as Big Bottom, Aids, Sexy Lady, Mama, and Nwata Miss. He also listed an album titled “U-Turn” with songs including Akula, Sheri, Comfort, Civilian Barrack, Akula (Instrumental). Also in the list is an album titled “Reality” which contains songs such as Monkey, Family Support, No.6 Man, Give Mv Life, Lagos Life and Baby Come Back. He contended that the terms of the contracts entered with the company as Polydor Record in 1988, Polygram Records Limited in 1990, and currently Premier Records Limited had ended by expiration of time. “In this wise, we have our client’s instructions to formally inform your company to stop further breach of our client’s copyrights to the musical works under the musical albums and single(s) produced during the aforesaid expired contract period. “This is a result of the fact that the condition precedent as well as the consideration for the contracts were not met and furnished. “This serves as a legal notice that further breach after the receipt of this letter will attract legal action.“We hope and trust that your company will comply with our client’s modest demands,” he said.

Davies accuses Barcelona of not wanting him because he’s Canadian

Canadian superstar Alphonso Davies revealed that he was snubbed by Spanish giants FC Barcelona before he made his move to Bayern Munich. While he was still playing for the Vancouver Whitecaps of Major League Soccer, Davies attracted interest from major European clubs, including Barcelona. He however joined Bayern in 2019, for a then-record fee of $22m for an MLS player.

But Davies told the Say Less Podcast that though he was approached by Barcelona, the club’s former President Josep Bartomeu wasn’t interested because he’s Canadian. He admitted that that he is only basing that assessment on media reports, rather than actual contact from Barca. The Canadian star said; “Barcelona approached me, but the president (Bartomeu) said they didn’t want me because I was Canadian. “I’m not going to lie to you, that hurt my feelings a little bit. That I was Canadian was being said in the press. I don’t know if he actually said it, but it was being said.”

Young man accuses bank of trying to steal his money claiming he’s dead

A young man identified on Twitter as Groovy has called out his bank, Polaris Bank for trying to steal his money in his account claiming he’s dead. According to the young man, the bank told him they have a court order from Abuja Court claiming he was dead and had his account frozen by the bank. The young man disclosed that the bank deactivated his account in February and also filled out every required form. After weeks of back and forth, the bank told him he was legally dead hence he cannot access the money in his account. Read his tweets below. The controversial Nigerian rapper, Speed Darlington has accused the famous Afrobeat sensation, Davido of being a copycat.

This comes a few weeks after Speed Darlington held a similar session in Lagos. He criticized Davido’s lack of talent and questioned how he has managed to sustain his career. James Brown’s sister in tears as she accuses boyfriend of rape, abuse (Video)

Gracious Brown, the sister of the notable crossdresser, James Brown calls out her boyfriend over rape and domestic abuse allegations.

During a live session on Instagram, Gracious accused her boyfriend, Believe of making moves on her friend who passed the night at their apartment. James Brown’s sister stated that her boyfriend tried to entice her friend with money but allegedly made a move to rape her when she rejected his offers.

Gracious pressed on to state that when she confronted him, he denied the claims and beat her up alongside her friend. She also invited the said friend during the Instagram live session to reveal the wound on her hand reportedly from being manhandled by her boyfriend.

Peter Obi dissociates self from Obidient’s #EndINEC protest, accuses opposition parties

The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi dissociates himself from the #EndINEC and #EndNigeria protest planned by his supporters, Obidients.

Obidients in their different groups had planned a mega rally nationwide scheduled for the 20th of March to protest the outcome of the February 25th elections. Addressing the proposed protest, Obi restated his position to fight the electoral process via due process while accusing the opposition parties of being behind the #EndINEC and #EndNigeria protests.

In a series of tweets, he emphasized that the issue of his stolen mandate is presently before the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET).
