In his words: “I’m an Introvert man, I stay indoors, I don’t like to do a lot, I don’t hang out. I used to love all that in the past, but, I am no longer interested in such. “I think that staying indoors really comes from my age and my personal experiences, not how people perceived me. I’m getting older and getting smarter with my decisions. “As you grow older you just know what you want more, I don’t want to be at the party, I don’t want to hang out. When I go to the party sometimes, I’m excited to be there, and then someone just spills a drink on me, I would be like, I could be at home with my son, just having a good time. “Though I don’t feel insulted with such situations, the thought that I could just be home with my child having fun make such a situation a big deal.” Reacting to this, @Mawuli said: “Wizkid forgets he doesn’t have just a son.” @BigPluto reacted: “Hope am not gay? Wizkid Dey talk I Dey smile.” @David said: “I swear wizkid English sweet pass all davido albums.” @funny said: “Later you go see Wizkid and Poco lee for club dey shout omoyami or we are outside.” @Beautifulwrld commented: “If I say I be introvert, una go say i no get money but una agree for wizkid.” @DEMILADEMAMA said: “How will I explain to my future husband that I love wizkid more than him.” @Femi commented: “As a Davido fan, actually wizzy just highlighted my lifestyle for me!” @𝕄𝕀𝕃𝕃𝕀𝔼 said: “Baba wey de club every week.” @Donald Godzilar reacted: “He has humble lifestyle not introvert.” @Raemanzusi reacted: “Lmao, I do same thing. that’s why they always say we get pride. Opposition parties are trying to truncate my inauguration

Opposition parties are trying to truncate my inauguration

Tinubu has raised an alarm over alleged plots by opposition parties to truncate his transition process, coming up on the 29th of May, 2023. Tinubu Festus Keyamo, his spokesperson said in a statement on Saturday, March 25: “We have watched with great concern the condemnable activities of some persons and groups who are desirous of truncating our democracy. For reasons best known to them, these persons have remained embitt£red that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared winner of the 2023 General Elections. Repeatedly, but unfortunately, these misguided individuals have called for either the cancellation of the results or that the President-elect should not be inaugurated on the 29th of May, 2023. We wish to reiterate and emphasise that these positions are not in tandem with our constitutional provisions or our electoral laws. We would have taken these as mere wishful thinking, however, because of their implications for national security and public order, we have therefore considered it necessary, if not expedient, to call them to order. We are aware of the intentions of those engaged in these treasonable and subversive acts. We also know those involved in the many plots being contrived to undermine the transition in particular and democracy in general. They have done it in this country before and it threw the country into avoidable cri§es for many years and they want to do it again. They are bent on delegitimizing the new government. Some have made treasonable insinuations and openly called for military take-over. It is for these reasons that they are de§perate to incite the people against the incoming Government. It is perplexing to see that those contesting the results want to be in the courts and on the streets at the same time. However, if their intention is to truncate the inauguration of the President-elect and Vice-President-elect, they should immediately bury the thought. It is gratifying to note that the President has set in motion steps for the actualisation of the swearing-in ceremonies.“

Obidients in their different groups had planned a mega rally nationwide scheduled for the 20th of March to protest the outcome of the February 25th elections. Addressing the proposed protest, Obi restated his position to fight the electoral process via due process while accusing the opposition parties of being behind the #EndINEC and #EndNigeria protests.

In a series of tweets, he emphasized that the issue of his stolen mandate is presently before the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET). Peter Obi on #EndINEC and #EndNigeria Protest “My attention has been drawn to social media postings suggesting that a nation-wide groundswell “#ENDINEC”, “#ENDNigeria” Protest is being planned by the Obidients. We are aware that those postings are being orchestrated by the Opposition. My position is clear: Without prejudice to constitutional dictates on freedom of speech and freedom of assembly, I have publicly stated that in the matter of reclaiming our stolen mandate, we shall do so robustly, via the Courts and Due Process. Regardless of the misgivings many may have about our Judiciary, we must strive to build strong and resilient institutions, of which the Judiciary is one. As a firm believer in the separation of powers between the three arms of government, I am conscious that every so often, the Judiciary is called upon to vindicate itself on epochal national public-interest issues. The matter presently before the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) is one such litmus test case. Therefore, we are committed to pursuing Due Process in an unfettered manner. That is our primary and priority option. -PO” My attention has been drawn to social media postings suggesting that a nation-wide groundswell “#ENDINEC”, “#ENDNigeria” Protest is being planned by the Obidients.
