“Atiku has an assignment from God” — Primate Ayodele reveals prophecy

GistReel

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has alleged that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has been chosen by God for a particular purpose. Election: "Atiku has been given an assignment from God" — Primate Ayodele reveals prophecy The clergyman stated that Atiku’s assignment was to govern Nigeria for only one term if he emerges victorious. In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele listed some of the tasks to include restructuring, improving the education sector, lowering petrol prices, and reviving the economy. He cautioned Atiku against disregarding the divine policies if he does not want to experience God’s anger. While stating that his statement is not an endorsement or campaign for Atiku, the primate emphasized that the people’s votes would determine the election’s outcome. Election: "Atiku has been given an assignment from God" — Primate Ayodele reveals prophecy However, he warned that if Atiku does not emerge victorious, Nigerians will suffer more than they have in past administrations. “Among these three candidates, Atiku has been given an assignment from God to fix the nation within four years. If God gives Atiku victory in this election, he is to use only four years for this special assignment. If he wins and refuses to do the will of God for the people, he will see the wrath of God. “He will not complete his term because God’s anger will be placed on him. His assignment is to form an all-inclusive government, take care of security within six months, restructure before his term ends, reduce petroleum prices, fix the education sector, and revive the economy. “He must not start selling Nigeria’s property to his friends and if he does, he will see God’s anger. If God helps him to get there and he neglects all these policies, God’s wrath will be kindled against him. “I am not saying Atiku will win the election, it’s only the people’s vote that can determine that but I am only saying what God sent me to say to Nigerians; Atiku has an assignment placed into his hands by God to fix the nation within four years. It’s your choice to vote for him or not but if he doesn’t emerge, the person that wins will only add to the yoke of Nigerians as it is written in 1king 12vs14. The people will suffer more than they have ever suffered in the past administrations.” “Atiku, the Lord said I should tell you that if you win, you must not spend beyond four years or else you will see the anger of God. You must do an all-inclusive government, restructuring, security, health and everything to put Nigeria in order. If you don’t do these, God will be angry with you.”

"Utter rubbish" — Atiku addresses viral audio alleging plot to rig election

In the circulated audio clip, Atiku, along with his running mate Ifeanyi Okowa and the Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal, were purportedly heard discussing plans to disrupt the upcoming election. However, in a statement released on Friday by his Special Assistant on Public Communication, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, Atiku refuted the claims as “utter rubbish.” He also added that the audio demonstrated the ruling party’s intentions to ramp up their propaganda in the hours leading up to the elections. The statement reads in part; “We warned last week that as the election approaches there will be a spike in the rate of propaganda on social media. With barely 24 hours to the poll, we have witnessed propaganda from not just the All Progressives Congress but the Labour Party as well. “In this latest drive, a montage of speeches delivered by Atiku, Tambuwal, and Okowa since last year were manipulated and pieced together to give an impression that they were discussing plans to rig Saturday’s election. In this age of artificial intelligence technology, even dead people can be portrayed as delivering speeches. This is nothing new! “For the record, Atiku has run in two presidential elections and has never been indicted or prosecuted for election violence or vote buying. “But some people think they can sell a narrative of Atiku manipulating this election. This is indeed the height of desperation, the last kick of a dying horse. The APC and the Labour Party must note that elections are not won on social media but at the polling units.” Justifying why Nigerians should disregard the audio conversation, Atiku added, “It is unfortunate that those seeking power will engage in outdated defeatist tactics. How can Tambuwal be referring to Atiku by his full name in a one-on-one private conversation? This is nonsensical, similar to the type of meaningless chatter about President Muhammadu Buhari being dead and replaced by one Jubril from Sudan.” Atiku addressed his supporters He urged PDP supporters across the country to refrain from engaging in similar propaganda and instead support the party’s efforts to save the nation and its people, beginning with the presidential election scheduled for Saturday. “When they descend to the level of baseless propaganda, we will rise above it with dignity and respond with our Permanent Voter Cards. This election is a watershed in Nigerian history. Nigerians must not lose sight of what is most important, which is the need to rebuild this broken system, revitalize the economy, and improve security and the hope of the people in a united Nigeria,” he added.

During a recent interview with BBC, Atiku said that Labour Party can’t expect to get to the top because they are just starting and do not have structure, any local government chairman or governor to deliver votes. When told that the party is popular among youths, Atiku responded by saying “let the youths vote for them”. Kate Henshaw who reacted to Atiku Abubakar’s comment stated that “arrogance is not a good quality of leadership”. She also said that the PDP presidential candidate should know that the percentage of youths participating in this election is far greater than the old and elderly.

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has sworn to take it in good faith if he loses the presidential election. Speaking to BBC Pidgin, he stated that he would not be the first loser; hence he would accept his loss in good faith.

He went on to dismiss claims of corruption against him, emphasizing the fact that he has been investigated and nothing was discovered. That audio has disclosed nothing new.”

Atiku belittles Peter Obi's presidential ambition; says he cannot perform a miracle in 2023

The Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has played down the chances of his counterpart in the Labour Party, Peter Obi, to cause any upset during next year’s presidential election.
Speaking in an interview on Arise TV on Friday, Atiku noted that the presence of his erstwhile running mate, Mr. Obi, cannot boost Labour Party’s chances of victory in 2023.
In his words: “I really don’t expect the Labour Party to take as much votes from the PDP as people are suggesting. We could have seen it in the last election in Osun State. What was the performance of the Labour Party?
“This is a party that doesn’t have a governor, doesn’t have members of the national assembly, doesn’t have members of the state Houses of Assembly. And politics in this country depends on structures you have at those various levels; at the local level, at the state level and at the national level.
“It is very difficult for a miracle to happen, simply because Peter Obi is in the Labour Party.
“Unfortunately, Peter did not consult me. We are going on and on and suddenly I heard the announcement of his defection. I think he informed me three days after he decamped to Labour Party. So, he did not even consult me.”

A.Y asked the audience to choose between these presidential candidates: Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party via a voice note.
In what appeared to be one of the biggest highlights from the homorist’s show, the result showed that the majority of the audience voted for Peter Obi as they made the loudest noise

“Atiku took me in when I didn’t have anywhere to go, he’s the best presidential candidate”

"He took me in when I didn't have anywhere to go to, he's the best presidential candidate" - Cross Okonkwo

Reality TV star, Cross Ikechukwu Okonkwo has opened up on his relationship with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar.
The ex-Shine Ya Eye housemate revealed this while speaking to Blessing Enenaite of Punch NG.

According to him, Atiku took him in when he had nowhere to go and has also helped him to an extent.
He avowed that they have known each other for years and he has even shared the same bed with Atiku’s children.
Cross described Atiku Abubakar as the best presidential candidate.
In addition, he addressed some questions about relationships.

Read the discussion below:
You recently called the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, as your father. Why did you describe him in what way?
“I have known him (Atiku) for many years. Me and his children have lived together and shared the same bed. When I did not have anywhere to go, he took me in. He has also taken care of me to an extent. That is the true definition of family. I know him very well and I believe he means well for the youth. I also think he is the best presidential candidate.
I was attacked after I made that tweet (about Atiku being my father), and I wondered why.”
Some persons have said you called him your father for pecuniary gains. What’s your reaction to that?
“If I eventually go into politics, it will be for the benefit of my constituency. However, I don’t want to become a politician because I don’t want people to insult me. I cannot collect money from Atiku, and I have never collected money to campaign for any politician.”
What are your latest projects?
“I am getting ready for the elections. I was the president of a group called South East Youths for Atiku and Peter Obi (the then vice presidential candidate of the PDP) in the 2019 presidential election. I will also be involved in next year’s elections. I have been encouraging young Nigerians to get their permanent voter’s cards, so that they can vote for the right candidate.
I am also involved in a couple projects to make a living.”
You recently said you rejected N20m from someone who wanted you to date fellow ex-BBN housemate, Saskay. Why did you turn down the offer?
“If I am given the money now, I will collect it (laughs). When I came out of the BBN house, there was a lot of matchmaking (by people who wanted two ex-housemates to be in relationships). It was done majorly by rich fans who had so much to give. I knew that if I accepted their gifts to be ‘tied’ to Saskay, and the relationship did not work out in the future, it could cause problems for our respective fan bases. That did not make sense to me.
I decided that I would stay on my own, even if the number of my fans reduced. I was not really bothered because I knew what I wanted and I don’t want to jeopardise my future.”
Another ex-BBN housemate, Angel, said you did not put enough effort into your relationship with her. What is your reaction to that?
“I don’t know why Angel felt that way because I put a lot into our friendship. I could not say a lot of things (on the reunion show) because I am not the kind of person who talks about the things I do for people. Angel knows that part of me. I am a private person.
However, I am truly sorry that she felt that way, but I was there for her. She also put me through a lot but our society believes men should always be strong. She dealt with me (laughs) but that is life. We keep progressing. Everyone has the narrative they prefer to push.”
You stated that you were hurt when you discovered that Angel was in a new relationship. Why were you hurt considering that you were not dating her?
“We were in a close friendship and we understood each other well. I don’t know how everything switched into a ‘relationship’. I did not know she was talking to someone else and all of a sudden, she was in a relationship. I felt hurt because we were close. I had to respect her decision because I could not be in a relationship with her. At the end of the day, I was happy for her. At least, the person will give her what I was unable to give her. Also, I asked her if the guy is a cool person because I wanted the best for her. I was never angry that she got into a relationship.”
You have said that you are scared of going into relationships because of your past experiences. What are these experiences and do you think you will be able to overcome them eventually?
“I cannot really talk about this because I was really hurt. I hope I will be able to overcome the hurt someday because whenever I am in a relationship, I put my all into it. When an unforeseen situation happens and the other person gets hurt, I become scared. When I am hurt, it is usually not easy for me to overcome it. Anyone who wants to go into a relationship should be physically, mentally and financially ready for it. Right now, I can look after myself, but I don’t know if I can look after another human being.”
What do you desire in a relationship?
“I desire love and care. I also want to have fun with my partner.”
What are the qualities you want in your ideal woman?
“I need a good lady that understands me. Some people think I am weird. But, who I am is sum of all my life experiences.”

PDP gives Obasanjo 48 hours to clarify comment about regretting picking Atiku as Vice President; threatens to expose him

PDP gives Obasanjo 48 hours to clarify comment about regretting picking Atiku as Vice President; threatens to expose him

Ex president Olusegun Obasanjo has been given 48 hours by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to clarify recent remark he made about regretting choosing Atiku Abubakar as his vice-presidential candidate in 1999.
Obasanjo had over the weekend stated that he chose his running mate incorrectly for the 1999 presidential election.

On Monday, June 27, Senator Walid Jibril, the chairman of the PDP Board of Trustee, said that while the party has great respect for the former president, it would be regrettable if the statement that has been attributed to him were to prove to be accurate.
The party, also threatened to reveal the ex president’s character if he did not clarify his remarks within 48 hours, claimed that he was upset with Atiku Abubakar for cutting short his agenda for a third term despite the latter’s assistance to the Obasanjo administration.

In Jibril’s words:
“I wish to appeal to former President Obasanjo to come out openly to repeat what he has said
Whether or not he was misquoted or meant what was credited to him.
Although he has not debunked what was reported, one can assume that what was quoted to have been said by him is correct, but if he fails to openly come out and say which is correct in 48 hours, you will hear the bombardment and I will have no option but to break the egg and tell the whole world and Nigerians who is Obasanjo.
There is no doubt Obasanjo may still be angry with Atiku even after helping him to succeed but perhaps for truncating his third term agenda. In any case, Alhaji Abubakar Atuku is our presidential candidate and I can tell you for sure that he will be the President in 2023 insha Allah.”
While speaking on the outcome of the party’s primaries and the selection of Okowa over Nyesom Wike which might have angered the latter, Jibril said:
”Governor Wike is a great party man who fought for the party, when the committee is constituted, in which we will also bring other contestants together, we will go and meet with Governor Wike and appeal to him even if it means kneeling down to beg him.”
