Renowned musician Adedamola Adefolahan, better known professionally as Fireboy DML, has revealed that rather than striving for greater success in the music industry, 2023 has taught him to be content with his acquired wealth and recognize “God’s blessings.” He stated that 2023, a “relatively slow year” for him musically, changed the way he viewed the world.

He stated: “This year, more than ever, has taught me to take a break, relax and appreciate God’s blessings instead of chasing more and more success. “This year, being like a relatively slow year for me [musically], kind of like put things in perspective like, ‘Okay, maybe, it’s time to get off that high and relax; take a deep breath. There’s family. Enjoy the wealth you’ve gathered. Appreciate the things around you and stop chasing success. “This year I’m relaxing. I’m always at home, I’m recording in the studio. On Sundays, I play football. And once in a while, when I miss the attention of the ladies, I hangout with them.”

Lady accuses police men of chasing her away after she sought refuge at police barracks

A lady has called out the police for turning her away when she ran to the barracks for safety after she got stranded.
The lady, identified as OmogeSisi, revealed that she was in a Bolt ride heading to Surulere when the car suddenly became faulty and wouldn’t start.

The cab driver had alighted the car to go search for someone who could help out in fixing it.
Feeling alone and scared, she left the car and decided to seek refuge at a nearby police barracks.
To her shock, rather than provide the lady with safety till another cabbie comes, they had chased her out of the barracks and locked the gate behind her.
