Nigerian superstar Davido is not slowing down on his big moves any time soon as he has announced a new series about his life on global streaming giant, Netflix. The 30BG leader is a prominent figure in the afrobeat scene and has in the last few years turned the world’s eyes and ears to West Africa, breaking through to the Billboard charts, headlining major global festivals, releasing his collection with PUMA, and securing a major global hit with Arab star AISHA with “Hayya Hayya (Better Together)”, one of the official songs of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The Nigerian singer who is currently on tour to promote his latest album ‘Timeless’, has revealed that his Netflix docu-series titled “David” will be released in December 2023. Davido who sat for an interview with Dubai-based media house, Esquire Middle East, said;
“I have a movie coming out in December with Netflix. It’s very, very big. This is the first time I’ve said anything about it, actually. It’s a documentary–a docu-series about my life, called ‘David’. I shouldn’t be talking about this, but yeah.”
