A Nigerian tailor returns the $5k found in a customer’s Ghana must go bag, which was brought to his fashion house. Apparently, the customer had brought the clothes, oblivious of the fact that they had left $5K in the bag.

A Nigerian restaurant has set tongues wagging on social media after they released an official dress code for their customers. There have been stories that certain Nigerian restaurants filter their customers by a list of criteria. This is only a confirmation that one of such restaurants do exit.

A photo of the said restaurant’s menu list has gone viral on the internet. Many could not help but notice the page where a list of clothing items not to be worn was listed. Many netizens have seen their move as “classist” and “ridiculous”. The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Kogi State branch issues a directive to exchange old naira notes for new ones only to customers with N500K and above.

Individuals with less than N500K were advised to visit their banks, as the CBN is only attending to customers with above N500K. To aid the implementation of the policy on the deposit of old naira notes, the apex bank created a website for customers to register to deposit their old notes. Customers with more than N500K are instructed to download and fill out a form from the CBN website and submit it, while those with less than N500K are to submit their completed forms to their respective banks for credit to their accounts. He disclosed, “There is nothing to fear as the link has been certified safe and no one will be shortchanged whatsoever.”

This comes amidst allegations that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has a shortage of resources to print more Naira notes. This triggered an open letter from APC presidential candidate, Tinubu to CBN’s governor, Emefiele. A video making the rounds on social media captured the moment a bank handed out coins to customers. A bag of labelled 1000 pieces of N2 coins is seen in the video as the customer lamented.

“What is this?” a customer lamented in Yoruba while being told a bag of coins contained an equivalence of N2K. The development triggered reactions from Nigerians who find it ridiculous while others made fun of the weight, and others. @fortunista_by_ivy wrote, “Next thing people will start betraying people for a bag of 2 naira coins 😂😂! One step forward 2023 years back.” Another user @hon_francis01 who had a contrary opinion wrote, “This will really improve Nigerian economy because like most of the things that is supposed to be sold out for like #7 but due to they didn’t longer use #1,#2 they will just move it to #10 so that’s why things are really expensive, with the help of this things will be getting better little by little.” Watch the video below …

Popular actress, Lillian Afegbai has accused a certain Nigerian bank of stealing the money of its customers.

She revealed that rather than performing its primary purpose of safeguarding the funds of its customers, the bank is taking from customers. The screen diva further said that the bank hasn’t apologized for the downtime its customers are facing like other banks has been doing. She lamented that she’s not been able to receive, nor send money and when it does go through, the money is debited but never sent. “zenithbank: why are you taking our money and not refunding it, Why are you stealing from customers you are meant to be keeping their money safe. Not for once have you sent a mail apologizing for the down time we are experiencing. Every other bank at some point still goes. A viral video has captured the moment the staff of a bank in Nigeria shared light refreshments for customers. In the video, the bank staff at Fidelity bank shared bottles of drinks with their customers who were present in the banking hall.

This is coming after netizens called out various banks in Nigeria for their poor customer service and for giving little or no cash to their customers after waiting in line to withdraw for a very long time. Since the circulation of this video, netizens have praised the thoughtfulness of the bank staff.

Bank workers scaling fence to evade aggrieved customers

Some officials of a certain Nigerian bank have been captured on camera scaling a barbed wire fence to escape angry customers. Varied reactions by Nigerians have trailed the scarcity of the new Naira notes which were introduced last year.

Numerous videos have shown some Nigerians waiting hours on long queues to use the ATM, while others have resorted to sleeping over to catch a spot the next day. More extreme and intense reactions have also been recorded as some residents have stormed banks to destroy properties both of the bank and its workers. To avoid falling victim of being manhandled by some aggrieved customers, some bank officials had resorted to scaling fence with ladder. Although it is not known where the incident occured, a viral video online captures the staff taking turns to climb a fence. Watch the video below:

Popular comedian, Broda Shaggi has chastised those justifying the action of a dispatch rider who ate part of a customer’s food before delivery.
Apparently, a customer in Lekki, Lagos state had ordered food online which was delivered by the dispatch rider.

It was gathered that the bike man had arrived late after supposedly diverting to eat half of the food.
During an argument that followed after the customer found out that the food had been partly eaten, the dispatch rider admitted that he had opened the takeaway but didn’t eat the food.

Some netizens had asked that he be forgiven as it could have been hunger that drove him to do that.
Shaggi had reacted by wondering why people always justify the bad attitude of others.
He said that there shouldn’t be any justification for such bad act as he’s being paid for his work.

With the 2023 elections drawing near, talented Nigerians have showed how interested and involved they are.

While lots of Nigerians are using their various skills to campaign for their preferred candidate, the young barber decided to use his skill to carve face of Peter Obi on the back of a customer’s hair.
In the viral video, the customer, who’s a staunch supporter of the presidential candidate, Peter Obi, could be seen sitting calmly as the barber expertly carved obi’s face on his hair, adding the inscription, “Peter Obi 2023.”
