A 43-year-old Catholic priest, identified as Joseph Kariuki Wanjiku, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Monalisa Hotel Delview in Gatanga, where he was accompanied by his alleged girlfriend. The priest had checked into the hotel on Friday evening in the company of a woman described as his girlfriend.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Joseph Kariuki Wanjiku was pronounced dead. The priest, who had been accompanied by his girlfriend, was discovered lifeless in his car, which had been used to transport him to the medical facility. Startlingly, his body was found in the back seat, partially covered with a hotel bedsheet, and there were signs of white foam oozing from his mouth and nose. The exact cause of his death remains unknown. Police officers who responded to the incident have since secured the body and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the priest’s demise. The woman, described as the priest’s girlfriend, is being questioned by authorities to gather more information about the events leading up to his death. The police report indicates that the duo had checked into the hotel on Friday evening but the priest began feeling unwell the following morning. In their ongoing investigation, authorities have taken the food and drinks consumed by the priest and his girlfriend during their stay at the hotel for further analysis. The purpose of this analysis is to ascertain whether any substances present may have contributed to the priest’s untimely death. News of the priest’s puzzling demise has elicited an outpouring of grief from Kenyans across social media platforms. The son of the resurrected woman also disclosed she was hitting the coffin with her left hand when she woke up. “We are here at 509 Olmedo Street, where a person who was declared dead in the hospital has been in the coffin since noon, and it turns out the lady is alive. At this moment, we can see that she has vital signs,” the person said. “She is struggling to breathe; we called the emergency services, but they told us they will call us back and that there is no ambulance.” Luckily, she managed to get to an ICU ward, where she is understood to still be. “My mum is on oxygen. Her heart is stable. The doctor pinched her hand, and she reacted; they tell me that is a good sign because it means she is slowly responding,” her son said. Gilbert said: “I am slowly coming to terms with what has happened. Now, I only ask for my mother’s health to improve.
