An Instagram cloth vendor identified as Khadi is found dead after linking up with a client at a popular hotel in the Akobo area of Ibadan.

Khadi whose name is Adeshina Olayinka was known for her designer clothes and bag business on the image-sharing platform until she breathed her last. According to reports, she informed her friend of a meeting with an individual at Wetland Hotel in Akobo on the night of Wednesday 5th of April. The man she was with, however, checked out early on Thursday morning which was followed by a phone call to Khadi’s room and she confirmed her safety to the receptionist. Unfortunately, Khadi was found dead hours later when the receptionist reached out to inform her of her already overstaying.

A young man has shared a personal story regarding his father’s near-death situation, which occurred on March 9th, 2000, when he had drowned. Despite undergoing various attempts to revive him, he was declared dead. However, due to limited mortuary space, his body was temporarily placed outside the mortuary. Born on April 3, 1944, Diya held various high-ranking military positions, including GOC of the 82 Division, before eventually becoming the Chief of General Staff (military Vice President) to Gen Sani Abacha. Chisom Lennard, the Campaign Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ahoada-West Local Government Area of Rivers State, was fatally shot by unidentified gunmen who had kidnapped him earlier.

The incident reportedly occurred while Lennard was voting in the governorship and state House of Assembly elections at Ibagwa polling unit 2 ward 10 in Ahoada West LGA. The gunmen, who were wearing police uniforms, had attempted to steal election materials, but Lennard had intervened, leading to his abduction in a swift manner. The State APC Publicity Secretary, Darlington Nwauju, confirmed the tragic incident to the press. Nwauju stated, “He was abducted from his polling unit during the voting process and taken away. Nobody knew where they took him to. It was later in the evening of Saturday that his body was discovered. “He was APC LGA caretaker chairman and was a PhD student at the Rivers State University.” Lennard’s lifeless body was discovered on the Ibueahi-Ubeta road in Ahoada-West LGA of Rivers State, with multiple gunshot wounds and surrounded by a pool of his own blood.

The Wire creator David Simon released a statement to the Hollywood Reporter to express his grief. “A consummate professional, a devoted collaborator, a lovely soul and a friend. This is just gutting and way, way, way too soon for any of us who knew and loved him to contemplate,” he wrote.

Missing 300 level Benue State University student found dead

Erekaa Naomi Dooshima, a 300-level student of Benue State University has been reportedly found dead a few days after she went missing.

Dooshima, also known as Affection, who was a Mass Communication. She was reported missing three days ago and all efforts made to locate her whereabouts proved abortive. According to Benue activist, Ukan Kurugh, a phone, ID card, and blood-stained clothes allegedly belonging to the student were found around Rahama clinic opposite Medical school in Makurdi on Tuesday, February 21. The missing 300-level student’s body was found on Wednesday, February 22. Dooshima’s body is currently being exhumed by operatives of the Benue State Police Command.
