Moment car wash attendant narrowly escapes death after crashing customer’s vehicle while test driving it in Port Harcourt

A car wash attendant in the Rumueme area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, had a harrowing close call with death on Sunday afternoon, as he reportedly crashed a client’s vehicle while test driving it. The incident, which unfolded in broad daylight. According to a post by Facebook user Justice Ori, the incident occurred on Sunday, October 29, 2023. The vehicle owner had brought his car to the local car wash for a routine cleaning, an ordinary task that took a terrifying turn.

The car wash employee, after finishing the cleaning, decided to test his driving skills in the client’s vehicle. This impromptu test drive quickly turned into a disaster, as the vehicle careened out of control and ended up inside a drainage ditch. Bystanders who witnessed the incident rushed to the scene to provide assistance to the trapped attendant. Miraculously, he narrowly escaped death, and with the help of the community members, they managed to extricate him from the car.

The vehicle, however, sustained noticeable scratches and damage as a result of the crash. At the time of the Facebook post, the owner of the car was reportedly unaware of the incident, leaving them in the dark about the unfortunate turn of events that had transpired at the car wash.; “Happened this afternoon in Rumueme area of Port Harcourt. A Man drove his car to car wash, the car washer after washing the car decided to test his driving experience, the next thing we saw him and the car inside the drainage. It took the help of people around to bring him out as he narrowly escaped death. According to a Twitter report, a married woman pursued her husband in suspicion of infidelity, leading to an accident. She pursued him with the hope to find out if he was cheating on her. Unfortunately, he got involved in an accident to was able to escape death. She was rushed to the hospital for further examination.

Nollywood star, Charles Inojie has taken to social media to express gratitude to God after escaping getting crushed by a water tank. Sharing a video from the scene of the incident, which was his house, the actor known for comic roles in Nigerian movies narrated how the incident occurred.

Inojie, who revealed that he was sitting outdoors, said the tank fell from its base three minutes after he stood up from the seat he sat on. The tank fell directly on the chair he was sitting on, spilling its content. The actor who wondered if he would have survived the incident, wrote on Instagram;

“Again, God came through for me to the devil’s utter disgrace.”

Man thankful as he escapes being severely injured in cutlass attack during road robbery

A man is grateful for life and wellbeing after he was almost hacked by a cutlass-wielding robber.

The man identified on Twitter as Dada Temitope revealed that the incident occured in the morning of April 20th, just before Otedola bridge, Lagos. A video he attached to his report showed that the robbery attempt had left the glass in the driver side in ruin. The robber had apparently slashed at it which left a huge gash on the glass. Dada thanked God for his grace as well as his street-smartness. He also added that there was a police check point just minutes away from the scene where he was almost robbed and that when he had told the officers what almost happened to him, they only expressed sympathy. “Almost got robbed this morning just before Otedola bridge. She revealed that she had arrived her polling unit and had brought out her phone to cover the goings-on when some thugs came at her with knives and bottles. APC governorship candidate, Teslim Folarin, Thursday, escapes an assassination attempt by the whiskers in Ibadan, Oyo state.

As recounted by Teslim’s special adviser on media and publicity, Olaniyi, a group of masked gunmen invaded his principal’s ancestral home at Oja’gbo area in Ibadan. He stated that the incident occurred at about 8 pm in search of Folarin who had a scheduled meeting with his family members. Olaniyi said: “Oga escaped an assassination attempt on his life this evening. He had a scheduled meeting with his family members at Oja’gbo. As you are aware, he is the one representing his family at the Olubadan line as Asaju Olubadan. So, he was supposed to hold the meeting between 6:30 and 7pm but because he was on air at a radio station, he couldn’t meet up at that time. “He didn’t leave the radio station until around 8:40 pm. So, the gunmen invaded the area around 8pm thinking that he was there and started shooting sporadically and wounded many people.”

An unidentified corps member posted to a secondary school in Osun State, has been assaulted by his students for reasons yet to be known.

Footage of the attacked corps member has been trending on social media. The copper could be seen with what looked like a deep cut on his dead and neck. He was left bleeding and blood can be seen running down his face and on to his white shirt. “We won’t take this,” said some of the voices in the background, while other students just stood there and stared blankly. It was gathered that the attack was carried out with a knife.
