“Stop hyping your faves at the expense of Olamide”

"Stop hyping your faves at the expense of Olamide" - Twitter user blows hot

A Twitter user has shared his opinion about the alleged constant disrespect towards phenomenal street rapper, Olamide.
Olamide
The YBNL huncho has been in the music industry for over 10 years now, has gained significant recognition as one of the driving forces in the music industry,
However, a Twitter user seems to think that Olamide Adedeji, known simply as Olamide does not get his flowers. As a matter of fact, he gets “disrespected a lot”.
The user concluded by sounding a note of warning to music lovers. He asked them never to hype their favorite artists at the expense of Olamide.
YBNL
“Olamide gets disrespected a lot; Aside from his unbeatable talent, he has elevated many street artistes & owns one of the biggest record labels in Nigeria. U think it’s by winning r!gged awards or using bet streams to top charts? Hype ur faves but not at Olamide’s expense.”, the user wrote:

"At the expense of another human's life?" – Netizens lambast Reno Omokri as he reveals what he'd do if it were his child that needs an organ

Controversial political commentator, Reno Omokri has been lambasted over recent revelation.
The human rights activist, reacting to the news of the Ekweremadu’s organ haarvestiing saga, stated that if it were his kid who needed an organ, he’d bend the rules for their sake.

According to him, if his child were to be in desperate need of a donor and he and his wife aren’t a match for the kid, he’d pay a willing adult to donate his organ.
In his words:.
“If any of my children need organs to save their life, (God forbid), and my wife and i are not a match, I will do anything legally possible to get them a match, including paying a willing adult to donate their organ to them.
And even that ‘legally’ is qualified. If my child is dying and I can bend the rules to save their life, what would I do? Perhaps I can’t answer that question here.
Majority of the people that are active on social media are young adults who do not have children. So, they don’t know the lengths to which love for your children can drive you. That is why they are spilling and spreading vitriol against people who are in a state of grief. I empathise greatly with the Ekweremadus and hope fort their vindication and continue to wish Ike Ekweremadu well. May God be with them, in Christ’s Name.”

Netizens have criticized what he said;

Bovi reveals why he’s not worried about the rise, acceptance of skit makers at the expense of stand-up comedians

Bovi reveals why he's not worried about the rise, acceptance of skit makers at the expense of stand-up comedians

Popular comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma has played down speculations that the rise and acceptance of skit makers in the entertainment industry will affect him and other stand-up comedian in Nigeria.
Speaking with Sunday Scoop anchored by The PUNCH, Bovi noted that skit makers and stand-up comedians are of different genres with different markets.

Noting that the two fields should collaborate instead of competiting, Bovi added: “Why should it (rise of skit makers) affect them (stand-up comedians)? They are two different crafts. We should learn to be more collaborative instead of competitive.
“Anytime I get that question, I get worried because what they do is online, and there is a market for it. What we do is offline and there is a market for it as well.
“They have a different genre, so we should encourage them and the fact that they can make money out of it. The fact that it is now a booming business is a plus to the entertainment industry.”
On what distinguishes him in the entertainment industry, the comedian said, “I just do me and I make sure I always challenge and reinvent myself. I also constantly evolve so people would not get bored. If one does not reinvent oneself, people will find one predictable.”
