Popular Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, has been granted bail by the chief magistrate court in Yaba, Lagos state. The singer was granted bail on Tuesday, May 16. The court also directed police to investigate the alleged attack on an officer within 48 hours.
Seun Kuti’s car was halted on the Third Mainland Bridge and the son of the famed Fela Kuti was detained for slapping an officer. But the defence counsel, Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), begged the court not to remand his client. Seun had claimed that the police officer threatened his life and that of his family.
In the late hours of yesterday, Hilda Baci hit the set target of cooking non-stop for 96 hours. However, after the 96th hour, the determined young lady added an extra 4 hour to hit a 100 hour cooking marathon. Her 100 hour cooking marathon which broke the record of the India Chef who cooked for 87 hours 45 minutes has been recognized by Guinness World Records who have shared on their story the historic cooking stint of Hilda Baci. Hilda has prepared more than 110 meals and served over 2,795 individuals thus far. Despite her evident exhaustion from standing on her feet for over three days, Hilda Baci maintained the standard of excellence that her brand is known for and is not compromising on quality. 
Her attempt to break the Guinness World Record has been nothing short of awe-inspiring, with a surge of Nigerians at the cook-a-thon venue to witness her make history, and thousands more following the event on social media. Notable celebrities have also actively supported Hilda’s endeavour, with some present at the venue to offer words of encouragement and affirmation. 
In a new post shared on her page, Uche Ogbodo has lamented the kind of food she has to eat for breakfast due to pregnancy cravings. She wrote on her page, “I now eat things I would hardly ever eat at odd hours of the day! How can this mighty mountain be someone’s breakfast? I just woke up, I didn’t even wake my Oga, because he is not a morning person. I just dressed up and drove all the way to Lekki for Afang Soup & Poundo! Haaaa! The restaurant people just dey look me with Dangerous side-eye. I’m driving back home now sha after enjoying it. This is my 3rd Baby Cravings is something else. ooo. So different from my last 2. Make I no go Crave human meat one-day oooo (God abeg oooo)” 
Hours after he gave this advice, the Ex-wife of Gideon Okeke took to her Instagram story to reveal that she is not ready to talk about her ex’s statement. She added that there will be no holding back once she starts spilling their secrets. Chidera then slammed Gideon for acting as the victim when he was the one who ‘stomped’ on her in their marriage. “If I start to talk! Hmmmmmm… There will be no holding back. Because the millipede that was stomped on did not scream, but the foot that stomped on it keeps screaming “my foot, my foot” (its sweet in Igbo sha, but, you get the gist lol).
