“I have every proof” – Mohbad’s wife fires back at father-in-law

Mohbads wife, Wunmi, has finally cleared the air on the allegations leveled against her by father In-law. In a recent interview, she clarified that everything the elderly man said about her were all lies with no atom of truth. According to her, her father-in-law wants her to be locked up in jail so he could take possession of her late husband’s properties. She said “Everything Baba (Mohbad’s dad)has been saying about me are all lies. I decided not to grant interviews because I am messed up mentally and I need to take care of my baby. Baba’s aim is for me to be jailed so that everything that belongs to my son will be given to him. “He has been calling Adura (Moh’s brother)to lie against me at the coroner court. I have every proof. That was the reason Adura has refused to go to him. Baba said he saw some clothes filled with blo*d when he came to our house after my husband passed away. That was a blatant lie. He has also called my mother-in-law that she must lie against me in court that she saw clothes that were filled with blo*d. “He also influenced my mother-in-law’s sister to say she saw blo*d in the house. I am not a weak woman. I have so many things I can reveal about Baba but I decided to keep mute because of my son, Liam…if I start spilling secrets, people will know who Baba really is but my son will grow to read the mess online, for now I rather hold my peace.”

According to the Lagos State Police Command, they have not received the official autopsy report of Mohbad, whose passing caused controversy. It has been two months since Tuesday, November 21, 2023, when the late Mohbad’s body was dug up for an autopsy. Tuesday, September 12, 2023, saw the controversial death of Mohbad, who had previously been signed to Naira Marley’s record label. The 27-year-old singer’s death was investigated by a coroner, as ordered by the state government of Lagos.

The police emphasise that, in spite of circulating rumours, they are committed to depending only on accurate information. Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police public relations officer, provided an update on the autopsy. Hundeyin said: “The autopsy report has not been given to us. Some people have been carrying rumours that it’s ready. It’s one thing for it to be ready; it’s another thing for it to be given to us officially—that we would receive and sign a copy that we have received it. So, we don’t work with rumours; we work with facts.” Only the singer’s family attorney may ask the pathologists to divulge the autopsy results, according to Hundeyin. If not, when it’s ready, the police will receive it on their own. This comes after the late musician Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, issued a warning to anyone who could try to take his son’s remains for burial without his consent.

Mohbad’s sister-in-law makes fresh allegations regarding Ikorodu show

Karimot, the sister-in-law of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, unveils fresh allegations regarding his final moments. She claimed that the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death were complex, involving an encounter with certain individuals connected to the show in Ikorodu.

In a video on her Instagram handle, Karimot asserted that Mohbad had met these individuals at a bar 72 hours before his demise, just before the performance in Ikorodu. Mohbad’s sister-in-law emphasized that Nigerians should scrutinize videos of Mohbad during the Ikorodu show, asserting that his erratic behaviour was not solely influenced by hard drugs. She questioned why there was minimal discussion about the people Mohbad met shortly before his passing.

“I will not keep quiet or be shut up on why they hurriedly buried Mohbad. You are telling me to keep quiet and trying to shut me down. When he died, somebody donated money for them to bury him. “72 hours before he died, Mohbad went to a bar to drink and eat with the same person, and the person who hosted the show in Ikorodu, did the person reach out to Mohbad’s widow? Please, Nigerians should go back to the video of Mohbad on stage and study his behaviour, he was not under the influence of drugs. “Mohbad was sceptical about the show, he was reluctant but said he had to go because he had been paid. I will keep asking why was Mohbad buried. Mothers should rise up and fight for justice, you can’t shut me down, before the show he was at the bar, why is nobody talking about the people he was with? Mohbad’s father drops music tribute for late son

Mr Joseph Aloba, the father of the late ex-Marlian signee, Mohbad officially drops a music tribute, recounting the beautiful memories he shared with his late son. It would be recalled that Mohbad passed on under mysterious circumstances some months ago and has since been the most controversial report this year.

Following a number of music tributes done for the late singer, his father joined the movement, releasing his first tribute for his late son. Some parts of the song’s lyrics say, “Music is the only thing I have to cherish your memories.” The tribute of Mohbad’s father has, however, generated tons of reactions as many accused Mr Joseph of hustling his music career with the demise of his son.

Shut up, Mohbad’s body won’t be released until…

Popular activist, Verydarkman has lambasted Tonto Dikeh and others who are calling on the Nigerian police to release the body of late singer, Mohbad for befitting burial. It would be recalled that the veteran Nollywood actress and politician had cried out to the Nigerian Police Force to release Mohbad’s body so he can get a befitting burial.

Verydarkman has tackled them as he commands them to shut their mouths. He said that Mohbad’s body cannot be released for burial until they have completed their thorough interrogation.

Nigerian musician, Bella Shmurda has demanded that the body of his late friend, Mohbad, is released by the police so he can get a befitting burial. The death of the late musician is still under investigation and the Nigerian police had exhumed the body to carry out autopsy. Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh calls on the Nigerian Police Force to hasten their investigations and release the body of the late Mohbad for a befitting burial. It would be recalled that the ex-signee passed on on September 12th, making it two months since his body was been exhumed and embalmed by the police.

Tonto Dikeh in an Instagram story post called out the Police for stalling the late singer’s burial while begging for justice to be served. It is worth noting that the mother of one and her colleague, Iyabo Ojo had once picked a casket and prepared the burial arrangements of Mohbad with the hopes of having his body released soonest. “@nigerianpoliceforce @benjaminhundeyin give us mohbad for a befitting burial. We are tired of your carelessness and slowness.. if no one speaks I will, I have invested too much of my emotions, my time and my love not to see this justice go through.. Like QM says give the police more time, honestly we have given you all more time than necessary.. This is not a case to be swept under… WE WANT JUSTICE,” she wrote.

A throwback video of the Marlian boss, Naira Marley and the wife of his late ex-signee, Wunmi Aloba on the same bed sparks mixed reactions. Amidst the fight for justice for the singer, Mohbad, a video dated October 7th, 2021 surfaced on the internet showing his wife and his boss on the same bed in Marlian house.

This comes days after Naira Marley was released on bail after he was incarcerated for almost two months while the investigation on the death of his ex-signee is ongoing. In the video that resurfaced on the internet, Wunmi was seen on the same bed with Naira Marley alongside another singer, C-Black.

The video has since sparked speculations on social media, with many questioning the debating the relationship between them while others simply thrashed the idea as a throwback from before her marriage to the late Mohbad. Mohbad’s father breaks silence over Wunmi’s planceta claims

Oladimeji Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, has broken his silence over claims made by Wunmi that he demanded Liam’s placenta after he was born. The late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi Aloba, previously disclosed the reasons behind her separation from her father-in-law. Omowunmi stated in her testimony at the Lagos Coroner Inquest on Tuesday that she and her father-in-law fell out after Liam was born.
