Iyanya who has contributed massively to the music genre chanced on a post of a Twitter user who was belittling a remark made by Ubi Franklin during a show. Ubi Franklin reportedly gave a shoutout to Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid for how they are promoting Afrobeats globally. However, while praising these three artists, he didn’t forget to acknowledge Iyanya as well. The Twitter user who didn’t agree with the opinion of Ubi Franklin that Iyanya has contributed to Afrobeat trashed the comment of Ubi Franklin. Popular Nigerian musician, Chidinma Ekile, has opened up on the reason why she quit secular music. The singer, who rose to fame after winning Project Fame in 2010, said she felt empty and disconnected from her source, Gist Reel gathered.
