A Nigerian man identified as @Oloye on Twitter has shared his heartbreaking experience when his girlfriend expressed her intention to break up with him in favor of being with a cyber fraudster, commonly known as a Yahoo boy. The incident, which occurred during their university days, left a lasting impact on @Oloye, who claimed that something within him “died” that day. Recalling the distressing episode, @Oloye described how he broke down in tears upon learning of his girlfriend’s intentions. The news of her choosing a life associated with a Yahoo boy, notorious for engaging in cyber fraud, came as a devastating blow to him. The incident took place during their time in university, an already challenging phase of life, further exacerbating the emotional turmoil experienced by @Oloye. Since that fateful day, @Oloye has found it difficult to trust and open his heart fully. He confessed that the incident had left him emotionally scarred and changed his perspective on relationships.
