Peter Okoye reacts to Achraf Hakimi’s divorce scandal

Nigerian musician, Peter Okoye, has expressed his views regarding the divorce scandal of Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakimi.

Recall that, Achraf Hakimi’s wife, Hiba Abouk filed for divorce after the footballer allegedly cheated on her while she and their children were away in Dubai and is allegedly demanding half of his assets. However, she was informed by the lawyers that her husband has no legal assets, as all his properties are in his mother’s name.

In response to the scandal, Peter Okoye stated that he does not understand why men are celebrating this story. He believes that people should not marry women they do not trust, unless they expect their wife to suffer after the divorce. “#MyOwnViewsAndOpinion I don’t understand why most men are rejoicing over this Hakimi story? Like I don’t get it. The truth is bitter but needs to be told. If you don’t trust her then don’t marry as simple as that. Or are you expecting your wife to surfer after divorce?” He wrote.

Davido’s aide, Israel DMW reacts after being called out by hair vendor over failed N800K contract

Israel DMW, the logistics manager of popular singer Davido, has shared his own side of the story after being called out by a herbs vendor for refusing to fulfill their agreement after collecting her money.

Recall that the vendor identified as Mideshaven had gone online to drag Israel as she claimed that she had paid him N800k upfront, out of the 1 million he demanded, so that he can make a video of himself promoting her product. She had revealed that Israel had refused to create the video for her and had subsequently blocked her.

Israel who broke his silence on the matter said that it was never part of their deal to make a video. He said that their original agreement was that he’d post her products on his Instagram story and he did that twice, as they had originally agreed. He wrote: “Mide, pay the amount I have asked for if you truly want a video of me promoting our products. Because it was never in our initial agreement. Our earlier agreement, was for me to post our products on my story. Which I fully did twice. Thanks”.

Comedian Bovi reacts to old photos of Ay and Basketmouth amid feud between the pair

Nigerian comedian, Bovi, has responded to an old photo featuring his colleagues, Basketmouth and AY, in light of their ongoing feud.

Basketmouth had recently disclosed during an interview with Chude that he and AY were never friends and therefore had no photographs together. In response to this, social media users unearthed several old photos of the two comedians together, which sparked a series of reactions online.

Bovi, who also worked alongside the pair, has commented on the situation, clarifying that the photo in question was simply a snapshot of Basketmouth and his fan taken in 2004. Furthermore, Bovi has pleaded with AY not to be upset with him and to refrain from referencing him during his interview with Chude. “This is Basketmouth and a fan! 😎 2004! 😃😃😃! Ay no vex o! Police reacts to trending video of officers assaulting man in Port Harcourt

CSP Adejobi, the spokesperson of the Nigerian police force, has responded to a video that has been circulating online, depicting police officers assaulting a man in Port Harcourt.

The video shows a police officer assaulting a man with a stick and later slapping him before forcing him into a vehicle parked within the premises. In his response to the video, the Police spokesperson expressed his disappointment and stated that he had instructed the Rivers State command to identify and bring to justice the officers involved in the harassment.

Ex-Military Gov, Umar Dangiwa Reacts to Obasanjo’s Letter to UK Court

Dangiwa Umar, former military governor of Kaduna state, hailed the letter sent by former president, Olusegun Obasanjo to the chief clerk of the Central Criminal Court, Old Bailey, as both timely and pertinent.

According to The Punch, Umar also praised the former military leader’s and ex-president’s deeds of kindness. In a letter to the UK court, Obasanjo requested that the case against Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice for organ harvesting be reevaluated and the couple be granted pardons.

Obasanjo made his case by pleading with the court to take into account the couple’s ill daughter, Sonia, for whom they attempted to buy an organ. He also urged the court and the British government to balance justice with mercy. Umar in a statement said: “I salute the great act of kindness and empathy by the elder statesman. “I do not know the senator but I am convinced of his good character as attested to by President Obasanjo who has earned a reputation in the resolution of international conflicts including being a member of the Eminent Persons Group which supervised the peaceful transition from apartheid to majority rule in both South Africa and Zimbabwe

“May God heal their daughter Sonia. May he protect and provide for the young man, Mr David Nwamini.”

The Lagos State police react to a viral video of an Igbo chieftain threatening to invite IPOB to Lagos for the security of their people against thugs.

A video making the rounds on social media captured the threats from an alleged Eze of Ajao Estate in Lagos who lamented bitterly about attacks on Igbo-owned businesses. The Eze alleged that their lives and business are not safe anymore in Lagos State at the hands of a group sabotaging their daily activities. He pressed on to make a threat about inviting the separatist group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for security reasons. In response to the viral video, the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin assured Lagosians to maintain calm.

Hundeyin emphasized that the state’s police would not sit back and watch such unfold. “To start with, the ever-ready @LagosPoliceNG will never fold its arms and allow such within the state…,” he wrote.

Foluke Daramola reacts to allegation of snatching her husband from his ex-wife

Popular Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola reacts to the allegations of snatching her husband, Kayode Salako from his ex-wife and taking over her school.

A Twitter user who claimed to be a student of the school at the time of the incident accused the actress of penetrating the school as a coach. In her words, “I’m sorry. I’m not judging o. can’t take her serious.
cos everytime I see dis woman I’m reminded of how she came into my sec school as acting coach & ended up snatching d school owner’s husband.
Both of them took d school from d Proprietress who had inherited it from her mum. 🙊.”

In a video, Foluke Daramola clarified that she is neither an academic nor met her husband at school. She added that they met on the neutral ground instead. Foluke acknowledged that her husband is a polygamist with children from multiple women and she is his only legal wife. She also clarified that the school her husband attended was started by his relative, not his ex-wife who had left their marriage.

She further noted that Kayode Salako had been separated for over a year before working on their marriage and reconciling. Foluke emphasized that she does not believe in the idea of men being “snatched” and does not discuss them in that manner on social media since they are not objects. Watch the video below …
