Moment man suddenly slumps as he arrives at his birthday party

A video that has caused a frenzy online captures the moment a man slumps and falls to the ground as he arrives at his birthday party. The celebrant was about to break into a dance routine, immediately after entering the venue, when he experienced a health issue that caused him to tumble to the ground.

Celebrant. He stayed on the dance floor for a long time, which caused some fear and alarm. Attending friends and family began laughing, believing it was all part of the dance. When they saw he wasn’t putting on an act, some of the attendees hurried to see to him. After the event, the man was apparently taken to the hospital by ambulance. Female student reportedly slumps after scoring 7/70 in CBT exam (Video)

A student has reportedly passed out after discovering that she scored 7/70 in her CBT examination. In a video making the rounds online, the university students were seen hurriedly rushing the unconscious student out.

It was gathered that the students had all gone to check their results when she found out that she scored a meagre 7 out of 70 in the exam which caused her to lose consciousness. In the viral video, her colleagues who were all wearing their departmental uniforms gathered round as some helpful ones carried the unconscious student to a clinic for treatment. A caption attached to the video read: “Exam don finish this one 7/70.” Watch the video below:

Flag bearer slumps during coronation of King Charles

According to reports, one of the flag bearers during the coronation ceremony of King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Westminster Abbey in London collapsed. In images that surfaced online on Saturday, the flag bearer donning a red regalia along with black trousers and shoes was seen subsequently assisted by his fellow flag carriers after landing on his back. Following Charles’ ascension to the position of sovereign head of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms, his 75-year-old wife Camilla was also crowned as Queen by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. This coronation marked the first of its kind in Britain since 1953, nearly 70 years ago.

Meat seller slumps, dies on duty in Lagos

A male meat seller has slumped and died while attending to a customer on Branco Street, in the Mafoluku area of Lagos. According to Punch, the incident happened on Monday, 24th of April, 2023, when the deceased was attending to a customer in the community.

An eyewitness, identified as Tunde said the deceased had finished selling the meat and was waiting for payment when he suddenly slumped. He said: “The man is a regular meat hawker in this area and he was hawking along the street as usual when a woman called him to sell meat for her. When he got to the woman’s place, he brought down his meat and negotiation went on for a while. He later sold the meat to her when they both reached an agreement. It was at the point when the woman was about to pay him that he suddenly fell to the ground. That was how the woman quickly raised the alarm.” “Later, some people tried to resuscitate him but all to no avail. His body was lying on the floor for close to 30 minutes. It was later that some of the residents hired a commercial bus to convey his body to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead,” The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident. “The man slumped and died. He probably had an underlining health issue. There was no foul play. The corpse has been deposited in the mortuary,” the PPRO said.

100-level student slumps, dies during lecture in Ilorin

During a lecture in class, Aminat Tajudeen, a 100-level student at Kwara State College of Education Ilorin, collapsed and passed away. According to reports, the incident took place on Wednesday at approximately 1:30 pm. Aminat had previously received her matriculation gown for the ceremony planned for the following day (13th April) and returned to class before the unfortunate event occurred. A member of the school’s senior staff, who preferred to remain anonymous due to lack of authorization to discuss the matter, revealed that Aminat was immediately rushed to the school clinic but later passed away. She was later taken to the Muslim cemetery, Osere, for her Janazah and burial. Speaking at her burial, the deceased father was quoted to have said that “she showed no sign or symptom of any sickness. We had quite a lengthy discussion on several issues before I escorted her to get a cab to the school.” The college Public Relations Officer, Mrs Abibat Zubair who confirmed the incident, told PUNCH Metro that she was a student of Music/Yoruba, adding that she was mourned by the college and students during the matriculation ceremony. “The Provost visited the parents yesterday to sympathise with them and also mourned her today during the matriculation ceremony together with the students,” the PRO said.

Nurse slumps and dies on duty in Zamfara

Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura, a nurse at the Specialist Hospital in Zamfara State, is said to have slumped and died while on duty. According to the hospital’s spokesman, Auwal Usman, who confirmed the incident, Bakura appeared very healthy when he arrived at the hospital but was subsequently declared dead after taking the blood pressure of roughly 30 patients. Usman added that she went to the doctor with a cardiac complaint, but she passed away shortly after. Before the doctors could perform CPR, it was already too late. “The medical doctors tried all they could to save her life but they couldn’t as she died instantly,” he said. Usman claims that the hospital’s administration, under the direction of Medical Director Dr. Usman Shanawa, has given the deceased’s body to the deceased person’s family members. Man slumps and dies while fighting over parking space in Lekki

An incident occurred at a supermarket located on Admiralty Way in the Lekki area of Lagos State, where a man slumped and died while fighting over a parking space.

According to The Punch, the deceased, who was a driver, had gone to the supermarket on Friday, February 24th to purchase items for his employer. However, a staff member instructed him to park his vehicle properly, which he disregarded and chose to park elsewhere. An eyewitness, Tunji Gafar, recounted that this disagreement resulted in an altercation between the two parties. Gafar said, “The man came to do some shopping for his employer and by the time he was about to park, a staff of the supermarket who coordinates the parking space directed him where to park, but he refused and went ahead to park somewhere else. “The staff member then approached him to park properly as instructed, but the driver declined. This degenerated into a confrontation as they both engaged in a fight. This drew the attention of one of their supervisors in the supermarket that came to intervene. “By the time he got to the scene, the driver had already collapsed. When they discovered that the guy did not stand up on time, they started to pour water on him but he did not respond.” In addition, Gafar mentioned that the female domestic worker who accompanied the driver alleged that the staff member used an object to strike him. He added, “When we rushed to help the man, a female domestic staff that came with him kept saying that the staff used something to hit him. Although the staff insisted that they did not engage in any fight, they only shouted at each other before he slumped. “We later ordered a taxi and took the driver to a nearby hospital. When we got there, he was referred to another hospital. It was when we got to the second hospital that he was confirmed dead.” An anonymous staff member of the company reported that the employer of the deceased driver arrived at the supermarket a few hours following the occurrence and made threats to apprehend the workers. “The employer of the driver came here later in the day and by the time he arrived, he started to threaten us with arrest. He said he was a regular customer at the supermarket and that his employee did not deserve to be beaten. “He also demanded CCTV footage of what happened between them but there was no one to operate it that evening,” the anonymous staff stated. Subsequently, the supervisor, known only as Bilal, and the staff involved in the incident were apprehended and transported to Maroko Police Station. The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the occurrence. “Yes, the incident happened. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Yaba,” he said.

Man reportedly slumps, dies while waiting to withdraw at bank

A man has reportedly met his unfortunate end while waiting to withdraw the new Naira notes at a bank in Agbor, Delta State. The news was shared on Facebook by a user called Omole Mike who revealed that the incident had occured right in his presence.

It was gathered that the sad incident occured on the 2nd of February while the customer was waiting in line to make withdrawals. Omole Mike shared a photo of the customer who was seen sprawled on the floor in the bank. The user wrote; “Just now, right in my presence. at about 1:30pm. Somebody collapsed and died in First bank of Nigeria Agbor Branch. The Date is on 02-02-2023. May his Soul Rest in Peace. It is well.”

The wife of former commander of the Intelligence Response Team, Abba Kyari has slumped at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Sources stated that she slumped on the floor as officers from the National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency took her husband and other defendants out of the courtroom.
This happened immediately after trial judge Emeka Nwite postponed decision on the accused police officer’s and other defendants’ bail applications.
Remember that Kyari was charged with eight counts of conspiracy, obstruction, cocaine peddling, and other connected offenses.
The judge postponed a decision on Kyari’s and six other people charged with drug trafficking charge to be granted bail pending the outcome of the case against them.

Italy-based Nigerian man slumps, dies after complaining of headache

A man Identified as Isiokponye Onuodafin who hails from Owa-Alizomor Community in Ika Northeast Local Government Area of Delta State, has reportedly passed on in Italy.

Uzoma Onuodafin, the younger sibling of the deceased stated that his brother had been lamenting about headache.

According to reports, the Italy-based Nigerian had seen his doctor about the headache to which the doctor had said he was fine; although, on getting home, he slumped and died.

Speaking to Ika Newspaper, Uzoma used the words Jovial, loving and caring to describe his deceased elder brother.
The deceased’s corpse is reported to have been interred four days ago in Italy.
