Court bans Korra Obidi and Justin Dean from posting their children on social media

A California court in the United States of America bans the famous dancer, Korra Obidi, and her ex-husband, Justin Dean, from posting their kids on social media.

The couple have been through a back and forth social media battles during their marriage before it crashed last year. Korra Obidi informed her followers earlier this week that Justin Dean started another court case in an attempt to take her kids from her after their daughter complained about hunger under her mother’s care. A day after, Justin released a photo of him and their daughters with a caption that appeared to taunt Korra. In a court document dated January 19th 2022, the ex-couple, who are parents to June Dean and Athena Dean, were banned from posting videos, photos or live-stream of their children or any content that have their children in it on social media until further notice.

The court order partly reads, “Neither party may post any videos, photos or live-stream the minor children on any social media platform nor allow the minor children to appear in any picture, video or live-stream posted to any social media platform without further Court Order. Neither party may take video, photos or live stream any interaction between the parties in this matter until further Court Order.”

Hazel Uzor, the ex-wife of the popular radio presenter, Nedu, reacts to the piece of advice from AY Makun about seeking social media validation.

AY had taken to his social media page to hint at the consequence of bringing issues to social media, particularly as a celebrity.
According to AY, protecting one’s mental health should be a priority other than the opinion of strangers.
“It’s time to stop seeking validation from social media. No matter d truth or lies about u or your personality, those who love u will still love u. Save yourself from depression, protect your mental health. Connect, spend time, & build relationships with real people in your life,” he wrote.

Nedu’s ex-wife whose former partner unveiled his new lover shared the post on her page amidst the backlash trailing her.
“Make I use this one hold body,” Nedu’s ex-wife wrote in the caption.

Davido unfollows bestie, Eniola Badmus following return to social media

Music megastar, David Adeleke, also known as Davido causes a stir on Instagram after he unfollowed his best friend, Eniola Badmus.

The singer, who recently made his return to social media, following the demise of his son made the decision yesterday, 26th of December.
Although Eniola still follows him, his decision has come as a shock to netizens, as the duo is known to be good friends, and often refer to each other as “besties“.
It will be recalled that Eniola Badmus was the first to break the unfortunate passing of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi on social media in October.
The actress suffered a severe backlash from Davido’s fans for being the bearer of bad news.

“If it is true that Datti Baba is Obi’s VP, then this is a social media presidency”

Popular activist, Deji Adeyanju has expressed disappointment following reports that Datti Baba Ahmed is set to become the running mate of Peter Obi.
Recall that news about Labour Party flagbearer nominating Ahmed as a running mate broke out lately which stirred reactions and debates about his decision.

Taking to social media, Deji Adeyanju who seemingly doesn’t agree with Peter Obi on this claimed that peradventure this becomes a reality, then the former Anambra Governor’s quest to become Nigeria’s president will end on social media alone.
He further asked why Peter Obi didn’t consider picking any of the former Northern governors.
Adeyanju in a bid to draw the line between social media and reality made reference to Shehu Sani who has over 2.6M followers on Twitter but ended up with only two votes during the PDP primaries.
He wrote:
“If it is true that Datti Baba Ahmed is Obi’s VP, then i’m sure this is a social media presidency. This ticket reminds me of Shehu Sani who has 2.6m followers on Twitter but scored 2 votes at PDP primaries. Of all the jobless former Governors in the North, Obi couldn’t find any.”
