Controversial Lawyer and social media influencer, Ifunanya Excel, has revealed her intentions to do music with big stars. The controversial lawyer has disclosed in an interview with Yangi Media, that aside from being a lawyer, she is also an artist.

According to Ifunanya, she wants to take her music to another level and be one of the greatest artists in Nigeria. Controversial influencer Daniel Regha has taken a swipe at Ayra Starr over her song “Sability”, while also claiming that she and Tems are up and coming artistes. Regha made the claim during a podcast session hosted by Big Brother Naija star, Doyin. During the interview, the influencer stated that it is either an artiste is either an “up and coming or goated”.

He further claimed that the two female artistes don’t have songs that can outlive 10 years and are easily forgettable when compared to some singers like Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, Waje, and Nicki Minaj. According to Regha, Tems is still being remembered for the high-profile international events he attends, while all Ayra Starr has is her miniskirts and her recycled songs including “Sability” which he described as the “most useless song” released.

Muyiwa Awoniyi, the manager of Nigerian singer, Tems, has recounted how the Grammy winner conducted praise and worship in her prison cell. According to Muyiwa, the singer carried out the commendable act when she was detained by the Uganda police alongside Omah Lay in 2020.

He said: “Entering prison, as a woman, Tems, they [prison warders] took her to the female section. I was just worried about her. I was not with her. I was just wondering what the hell is going on [with her?]. “I will come to find out that Tems conducted praise and worship in a whole prison cell. Everybody was singing with her. She took over the whole prison.”

“I want to be best friends with Tems and Ayra Starr” – Iyanya opens up

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, popularly known as Iyanya, has revealed his desire to be best friends with two of his colleagues. The musician engaged in a poll where he had to choose between two options.

In a poll, the musician was confronted with a list of options, and he was asked to select between Ayra Starr and Tems. However, he encountered difficulty in making a decision, and after much deliberation, he ultimately decided to choose both artists. At the beginning of the poll, Iyanya was presented with a choice between a woman’s backside and front, and without hesitation, he opted for the latter option.

Later on, when asked to pick between Tems and Ayra Starr and determine which one he would like to be his best friend, Iyanya responded by saying that he would like to have both of them as his friends. Iyanya was also given the option to choose between Jollof rice and Fried rice. However, he surprised everyone by opting for Ofada, a local delicacy.

Sensational Afrobeats singer, Temilade Openiyi a.k.a Tems has broken silence after being heavily criticized for her view-blocking outfit at the 2023 Oscars.

It would be recalled that the Grammy Award-winning singer had showed up for the event in a puffy immaculate white gown with a head piece wrapped around her head. While the impeccable dress had turned heads during the red carpet, it became an issue of contention as netizens surmised that it had caused people displeasure during the main event.

Some had said that her headpiece blocked others from having a proper view of the state. Following the whole drama and noise, Tems took to her page to share more stunning images of her in her dress with the caption: “Uh Ohh!”

Famous singer, Tems, loses the Best Original Song award at the prestigious 2023 Oscars event which marks the first nomination in the history of the Nigerian entertainment industry. Earlier this year, the international sensation made history by being the first Nigerian artist to receive an Oscar nomination. However, at the 95th edition of the Oscars Academy Awards, Tems was unable to secure a win. She was nominated for her work as a songwriter on ‘Lift Me Up,’ a song featured in Marvel’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’ Others nominated in the category were ‘Applause’ from ‘Tell It like a Woman’ by Diane Warren, ‘Hold My Hand’ from ‘Top Gun Maverick’ by Lady Gaga and BloodPop, and ‘This Is a Life’ from ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ by Ryan Lott, David Byrne, and Mitski.
