According to him, despite the surplus of food eaten by his guests, they refused to spray him N1000, or N500 notes. He pressed on to complain about the condition of the notes for not being mint notes but torn and damaged naira notes. “See wetin una dey spend, una come wedding chop chop even pack go house,” he said in part. His late wife, Maryam Muh’d Liman, was captured smiling in their wedding photos shared online. Sadly, she died eleven days after their wedding. Idris and Maryam reportedly got married on January 6, 2023, in Niger State and she died on Wednesday, January 18.
