It would be recalled that the actress shared a video of herself from a medical centre where she went through excruciating pain from the butt procedure. A video followed some week after where she vowed to pepper her friends and fans with her new body. Olaide Oyedeji has taken to social media to dish a portion of the pepper she promised her fans while flaunting her new post-surgery body.

A young Nigerian lady shares her experience at the hands of her mother who repeatedly body shamed until one day when she had the courage to respond.

A Twitter @TheShilly took to the platform to narrate how her mother often made jest of her about being fat. According to her, she decided to counter her claim and let her know her place. The lady noted that she interrupted her mom for the first time by saying she is not fat and if she was, she is not as fat as her mom. Her father who overheard the conversation cut in and ridiculed the lady for being fat while under their roof, unlike his wife whom he met as petite. “My mom body shamed me by calling me FAT! I wanted to do my own back so I responded with “I am not as fat as you” Big mistake! Her husband replied with ‘At least she is fat in her husband’s house, not her father’s house’ My chest is paining me,” she wrote.

It will be recalled that Peter Obi of the Labour Party lost the presidential race to Bola Tinubu, as declared by INEC. Following the election, he held a press conference to address Nigerians. Here, Peter Obi said a quote that has now become popular amongst his supporters. Matter of factly, one of them got a tattoo of the quote on his body, further pledging his support for Peter Obi. My grandma married 3 husbands. Remembering that her corpse was stolen from the mortuary because of a disagreement between children cracks me up everytime. Renowned Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, expresses her opinion on the topic of body enhancements and cosmetic surgeries for women

In a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria, the star of the Shanty Town series, who is rumoured to have undergone cosmetic surgery to alter her physique, delved into the subject of cosmetic enhancements and addressed the issue of body shaming women who opt for such procedures. Ini Edo insisted that everyone has the right to choose as long as they are willing to live with the consequences. In her words; “I mean, I just feel like anybody who sits around judging people, nobody has a right to tell anybody how to live their lives or who to be or who not to be. It’s not your place. You don’t have that right. “And so for me, I say to people who do that, I’m like, you, first of all, have to be able to dictate the pace of your life to be able to dictate somebody else’s pace. It makes no sense that you have no control over your own life and you’re trying to think that it’s okay to have control over somebody else’s life, it doesn’t make any sense. And I say to women, you be your own person. “You make your own choices and live with the consequences of your choices, of your actions. So it’s not anybody’s place to dictate to a woman how she should look. If she should be fat; if she should be slim, if she should be thick. “And especially in this kind of industry where we are in, I remember there was a time when people used to say to me, “oh you added so much weight, you should lose weight”, you know, people begin to put all those crazy ideas in your head and if you as a woman, you allow it, it forms an expression. “Some people fall into places where they start to doubt themselves and their self-confidence begins to dwindle because of the constant negatives that you’re hearing. “But you need to grow to a point where you realize that it is your body, it is your life, nobody else has the right to tell you do this or don’t do this. It is your right to say this is what I want to look like, this is how I want to look. “Do whatever works for you as long as you’re able to live with the consequences of your actions, it is entirely your prerogative!.”

Footage of AKA’s lifeless body on street following shooting

A footage has emerged which shows the late rapper, AKA sprawled on the street after being riddled with bullets in a drive-by shooting in Durban, South Africa.

Prior to his death, the rapper whose real name was Kiernan Forbes was said to have flown into Durban from his Johannesburg residence for his birthday party on Friday which was planned to hold at Yugo Nightclub. It was learned that the fatal shooting had occured after he posted about it on his social media pages and had invited fans to show up for the event. A video which surfaced online captures the lifeless body of the rap artiste after he died in a hail of bullets.

While facts surrounding his death are still sketchy, some have claimed that someone walked up to him and shot him six times while others have claimed it was a drive-by shooting. Watch the video below:
