Aspiring Guinness record breaker, Chef Dammy causes a stir as fans vouch for the delicious taste of her food as seen in a viral video. It is worth noting that Chef Dammy started her cookathon on Friday, June 9th, with the objective of cooking continuously for a total of 120 hours.

Currently, the record is held by Latan Tondon, who cooked for a duration of 87 hours and 45 minutes in September 2019. Nevertheless, Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, cooked for 100 hours in May 2023, and her documentation of the cooking session is currently being reviewed by the Guinness World Records. A video making the rounds on social media captured the moment fans of the 120-hour cookathon chef rushed a tray of assorted pasta while clamouring about its palatable taste.

He further added that the cultural similarities and differences between South Africans and Nigerians came as a shock to him while emphasizing the rich history of Nigerian culture. During a recent interview with Hip TV, Thabang said, Thabang said, “I learned about how rich in culture Nigeria is. I thought South Africa is a place that is rich in culture and great history but Nigeria has so many different cultures, and so many different traditions; they have a really rich history and that is something that I learned that I don’t know. “I learned about the different foods, food ethics, and the way they eat food. I found out that in Nigeria they eat popcorn with sugar and peanuts. He wondered if he smokes non stop for 14 days without food, that would get his name in the Guinness book. This comes following viral chef, Hilda Baci’s 100 hours straight cooking, which defeated the former time of 87 hours and 45 minutes, a record which was set by Indian chef, Lata Tondon in 2019. Nigerian singer and songwriter Oxlade has recounted how he sold tickets and food as a source of living after running away from home. According to Oxlade, he run away from home to pursue his music career and had to sell bus tickets—a job of motor park touts, popularly called “agbero.” During an interview, Oxlade disclosed that his father who is a lecturer at a university never supported his music career. He said: “Honestly, he [my dad] was indifferent at first. But my stubbornness and consistency paid off [laughs]. “I ran away from the house at some point in my life to pursue music personally. To her surprise, a restaurant owner had also come to the same place to grind rotten tomatoes and peppers, which she uses in cooking for her customers. “Bought tomatoes & pepper in bulk, stopped to grind them and I discovered something.
