Real Madrid has officially confirmed that Vinicius Jr has signed a new contract with the club until June 2027. The new contract was signed in 2022, but it was only formally completed on Tuesday. The Brazilian forward extended his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu hours after he was awarded the Socrates prize at the Ballon d’Or awards on monday night. The new contract includes a release clause of €1 billion, which reportedly, will also be included in the contracts of Fede Valverde, Camavinga, and Rodrygo.

The Colombian army is said to be actively involved in the search, as they have deployed special military unit to guard the border with Venezuela and prevent any attempts to transport Luis Manuel across the border.
