Reports by Get Football France suggest that PSG accepted a world-record bid from Al-Hilal, but Mbappé declined the move.

Chelsea, Man City, among eight Premier League clubs who rejected ban on same-party loans

Eight Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester City, have blocked a proposed ban on same-party loans. The rejection now allows teams to sign players from related clubs on loan during the January transfer window. The proposed ban faced opposition from clubs that had affiliations or shared ownership structures. Newcastle, now owned by the Saudi-led consortium, was among the clubs against the ban, as their majority owners, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), also own several clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Petr Cech leaves Chelsea after meeting with club’s new owner, Todd Boehly

Chelsea technical and performance advisor, Petr Cech is the latest staff member to leave the club after Todd Boehly officially became the new owner.
Prior to Cech’s departure, the club’s Chairman, Bruce Buck had stood down, while Marina Granovskaia, the figure behind a number of transfers over recent years at the club had also announced her departure.

Notwithstanding, the club’s former chief executive, Guy Laurence and ex-head of goalkeepers, Christophe Lollichon are also out of the club.

Chelsea stranded; can’t buy fuel for team bus as club’s credit card gets frozen

Chelsea’s credit cards have been temporarily frozen by the UK Government, Athletic reports.

It was further gathered that this could hamper movement of the defending champions for their games in the UEFA Champions League and Premier League.
Further reports say the credit card of the club which allows the team to pay simple bills like gas for the team bus, daily maintenance and other minor expenditure, was frozen on Friday by banks in the UK.
In light of this, there are growing fears that the freezing of Chelsea’s credit cards could leave the club stranded and “unable to buy fuel for the team bus”.
It could also hamper movement of the defending champions’ for their games in the UEFA Champions League and Premier League.

Meanwhile, the sad news is coming after Roman Abramovich (the club’s owner) was sanctioned On Thursday by the UK government and his assets frozen over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Abramovich’s woes is said to have manifested due to his relationship with Russian president, Vladimir Putin.
