38-year-old lecturer and wife die two days apart in Yobe

Dr. Barde Luka Yelwa, a 38-year-old lecturer and his wife Godiya have reportedly passed away two days apart.

On Thursday, April 20, 2023, Dr. Barde, a lecturer in the biology department at the Umar Suleiman College of Education in Gashua, Yobe State, passed away from a heart attack while caring for his ill wife. On Saturday, April 22nd, two days after he died, his wife also died living behind a 5-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy.

The couple will be buried at Dagare Village, 10 kilometers along the Bauchi-Jos Road, on April 24, 2023. Friends, family, and coworkers of the couple have cried out in pains on Facebook. “We spoke just a few days ago after your Ph.D. accomplishment not knowing that it would be the last moment I would ever hear from you again.” Joeman Joseph, wrote on Facebook. A Nigerian lady identified as Oghenerume has narrated a story of a miracle that occurred when she was younger while on a family trip.

During their return from a Christmas vacation up north, they were in an accident, causing their vehicle to summersault. After her mother woke up from a three-days-long coma, medical personnel were informed that her child was missing. Rushing to the scene, they found her crying beneath the damaged car. In her words; “My dad had tortoise car. We came home for Christmas and was on our way back to the north. We had an accident and the car summersulted. Mum woke up 3 days later in the hospital and was asking about her husband and children. That was when they realized a child was missing. “Long story short, sm persons went back to the accident scene & true to mums words, they heard a baby crying under the car and that’s how I was reunited with my family. My father told me this story. Said I was a toddler when it happened. He still has pictures of the accidents car.” See the post below:

Days following the announcement of the superstar Afrobeat singer, Davido‘s clothing line with PUMA, the pirated version surfaces.

It would be recalled that the singer unveiled his fashion line in collaboration with the prominent sportswear brand days after releasing his Timeless album. The pirated version of the design, however, has been spotted in the local markets and has since stirred mixed reactions.

Social media users were stunned at the swiftness of the replica and many pointed fingers at the biggest clothing textile market in Aba, Onitsha. “I was in coma for days” — Victony opens up on ghastly accident

Famous singer, Anthony Victor, also known as Victony, shared that he was in a coma for three to four days after being involved in a horrific accident in 2021.

He shared his experience during a recent episode of the Tea with Tay podcast where he revealed the traumatic journey. The accident, which claimed one life and left three people injured, resulted in Victony being wheelchair-bound for approximately one year.

When I woke up, I was in the hospital with my dad. I was like, What’s happening? Because my parents didn’t know I was in Lagos. The driver and the other guy at the front they were totally fine. We were two at the back, two at the front. He added that a lot of people would have given up if they had to go through what he went through. Davido said that he has come to realize that God is real, even though he had had his doubts in the past. The enormous show of support from fans has been overwhelming, he added further. Beleaguered musician, Portable has released a new track, ‘Federal Government Liability’, in which he sings about his time in detention.

The singer, who is always finding himself in a fix, had been entrapped by the law after he resisted arrest. He was, three days later, arrested, detained, arraigned and after trials, granted bail. Portable, in his latest song, sang about how he had been made to spend days in cell and how his grace had prevailed. A part of the lyrics read: “I am a child of Grace. Latest glory. From star to the eagle, come and see grace wey no dey disgrace. They carried me to prison but I didn’t collect their cloth. They did not sew cloth for me. Leave me alone. Electrician gets electrocuted days to his wife’s funeral

An Abia electrician identified as Allison Obiajunwa has reportedly met his untimely death after he was electrocuted.

According to the family of Allison Obiajunwa, their son died a few days to the funeral of his wife. The family have expressed shock over the sudden demise of their son. According to report, the electrician lost his wife a few weeks ago and was set to bury her a few days to his death. However he was electrocuted while trying to connect and change a transformer cable at Obingwa LGA of the state. A source told WithingNigeria, “The worst of it all is that his dead wife is still in the morgue, waiting to be buried in few days time. This is double tragedy or the family. We got to know that the electrician didn’t wear safety kits when the tragic incident happened. I don’t know whether to blame the company or the dead man for this criminal negligence”.
