Lagos State Govt debunks claim of train victims left unattended

Lagos State government debunks reports about the victims of Thursday’s train accident left unattended at the hospital.

The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) received a number of accident victims following a train and BRT crash in the Ikeja area of the state which left six people dead. In a statement, the state government condemned reports that suggested that the victims were left unattended in LASUTH. It released images of victims who have been treated and stabilized while stating that they’ve undergone a series of checkups.

It, however, termed false news peddlers as wicked and mischievous for ridiculing the effort of the Lagos State government and the hospital. “The falsehood peddled on social media that victims of the train accident at Ikeja were left unattended to is wicked and mischievous. Pure ignorance. Victims were speedily evacuated to LASUTH. They were attended to outside the emergency Centre to classify their injuries. Normal medical procedure in an emergency.

Survivors have since undergone various stages of treatment and admitted into wards. LASUTH has displayed excellence and commitment to ensure all patients are stable and discharged promptly. It is inhuman for anyone to go on social media to peddle rumours when families grieve over the loss of their loved ones.”

A young lady has stirred reactions on TikTok after expressing her resentment towards her biological mother whom she tagged a ‘wicked witch.’ She maintained that nothing can change her hatred for her mother and she regrets ever knowing her.

Famous OAP, Do2dtun, threatens to expose the veteran singer, D’Banj, over claims of making up lies about his divorce from the singer’s sister.

This comes amidst the divorce saga trailing the CoolFM OAP with his wife who accused him of domestic violence and forced abortion of their third child.
In a Twitter post, Do2dtun alleged that D’Banj made up lies to jeopardise his divorce case with the help of his lawyer rather than following the jurisdiction of the court.
He further noted that since the singer decided to take to an unprofessional approach, he is ready to open up cans of worms on him.

In a lengthy note, Do2dtun wrote;

Osinubi Damilola, the lady who was involved in the Timaya’s alleged hit-and-run has finally taken to her social media page to share her own side of the story.

In a lengthy instagram post in which she described the singer as a heartless and wicked person, the lady recounted her own side of the story as to what transpired on March 2nd, 2022, when the popular singer is reported to have hit the said lady with his car.

The lady revealed that the popular singer had hit her car with his green G-wagon. Confronting him over the damage done to her car, the singer had requested her number which she had decline giving to him because she feared he’d eventually block her.
