Ahead of the March 18 gubernatorial election, some residents of Lagos State have raised alarm over unfair treatment from the APC party. A video making rounds on social media captured the moment supporters voiced out their pain about pending payments for canvassing for votes during the February 25th election which APC lost to LP in the state. One of the supporters could be heard affirming that the party will not get their votes on March 18 during the governorship election. “We Ikorodu People came out in mass and we are the main reason Why APC got so much vote and almost won Peter Obi in Lagos, But we have not been paid yet, we are not going to vote for APC on Saturday if we are not paid our owed money with immediate effect,” a resident stated. A Nigerian lady has been ordered by an Enugu Magistrate court to pay the sum of N150,000 to a man after collecting N3k transport fare and refusing to show up. The court reportedly granted the sum of N150,000 in damages to the man after he filed a suit against the lady who breached an agreement. The story was shared on Twitter by a lawyer who stated that the magistrate made the decision to serve as a deterrent to others. The lawyer wrote: “A court in Enugu has reportedly set a good precedent by awarding damages of 150k against a lady. She was given 3k as transport fare to visit a guy and after collecting the money, she switched off her phone and refused to visit him. It will be recalled that NigezieXtreme earlier reported that Asake’s London show had to be interrupted due to a security breach. According to reports, some fans without tickets tried to force their way into the o2 Brixton.
The situation got out of hand and the security lost control. Sadly, 2 lives were lost; a mother-of-2 identified as Rebecca Ikulomo and 23-year-old Briton, Gabrielle Hutchinson.
Last night, while Asake was headlining the Flytime concert in Lagos, he stopped his show to pay tribute to the 2 lives that were lost during the stampede.

A Twitter user had taken to the platform to call out the singer over his unpaid debt of N140K after taking a loan of N7K from him.
“Oga, respect urself and refund my money. U no go see peace till u send me back my monie, insha Allah! No embarrass urself bcos of small change, send me back my monie. U wey don get, dey collect frm me wey still dey hustle, ah! U no get shame. Refund my monie,” the user wrote.

In response, Peter Okoye condemned the claim as a fraudulent scheme from people impersonating his name and brand.
The singer further shared proof of tactics used by the criminals, including a doctored video of his face.
“I am sure it’s one of this videos! Pls watch carefully and tell me if this video looks real to you and it’s not even my voice! Those are my old videos when I used to call zoom winners! It was replayed to you and made it look like the NETWORK was bad so you continue via texting,” he wrote.
