Footage of the attacked corps member has been trending on social media. The copper could be seen with what looked like a deep cut on his dead and neck. He was left bleeding and blood can be seen running down his face and on to his white shirt. “We won’t take this,” said some of the voices in the background, while other students just stood there and stared blankly. It was gathered that the attack was carried out with a knife. A female corper who identified as Nwaeze Charity Ogonnaya has reportedly lost her life while on her way to her state of deployment.
Reports gathered that the corps member who is currently serving in Akwa Ibom state lost her life getting into an accident on her way to the state.

It was confirmed that the lady embarked on the journey from Ebonyi state but met her death in Abia state on Wednesday, the 4th of January 2023.
The corper’s remains was immediately taken to her hometown as friends and family mourned her unexpected demise.
A friend of the deceased who broke the news to other corps members in the state also revealed that an unidentified person also died on the spot.
The lady added that she left the deceased at the park in Ebonyi state and boarded a different bus.
She said:
“Someone died on the spot. I don’t know her name. It’s Charity I know because I left her at the park. I entered a different bus.”

An audacious female corps member has been making headlines after dancing for a soldier at National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in Lagos state.
In the short clip, the young lady who was fully dressed in her NYSC uniform ran towards the soldier to flaunt her dance moves.

She stood in front of him and danced shyly as the soldier looked at her in shock. Captivated by her dance moves, the soldier smiled at her causing her to run off.

With the security situation in the country in shambles, NYSC corpers in Benue has decided to take on self defense to protect themselves against the scourge of banditry.

In the video posted online, the group of corpers clad in their NYSC attire could be seen practicing their moves aggressively while on camp.

A Nigerian man identified as Pooja has shared his experience with a corps member who asked him for help.

According to Pooja, the corps member sent him a DM requesting for help, and he was able to render help to the corper.
Days later, the corper sent a message asking for his account number to send the money back, a gesture which Pooja wasn’t really comfortable with.

“A guy was going for NYSC, he entered my DM and asked that I raise him with some money to buy stuff to take to camp. I struggled to send him N15K cos he showed all his documents as evidence.
Today, he said he got his first alawee & wants to repay me. I sent my acc details. He sent the money & I went back to his account details in my DM & sent it back with DASH as the remarks.

The dissatisfied corper identified by his handle as @TushThug315 urged the government to scrap the programme because youths can’t be suffering like this every year.
It is worthy to note that this is not the first time images of unconducive Corpers abodes are surfacing.
Nigerian youths have always complained over the poor and unhygienic apartments provided by the government when serving their Father’s land.

The clip which is currently circulating on social media showed some young men and ladies showing off some steamy and erotic dance moves.NYSC corps members dance
The act has subsequently attracted the attention of the scheme as they have confirmed that investigation is currently ongoing and anyone found culpable will be treated in accordance with the bye-laws of the Scheme.
The statement reads:
“UNWHOLESOME ACTION BY A GROUP OF CORPS MEMBERS

The attention of NYSC Management has been drawn to a video currently trending on the social media showing Corps Members supposedly in NYSC Orientation camp in very compromising actions that pushed beyond the boundary of decency.
Management hereby restates that the Scheme is founded on discipline, patriotism and youth-reorientation and will never condone such irresponsible behaviour.
Investigation is currently ongoing, and anyone found culpable will be treated in accordance with the bye-laws of the Scheme.
