20-year-old Nigerian lady reportedly arrested in UK after travel agent defrauded her of £20K (Video)

A 20-year-old Nigerian lady has reportedly been arrested in the United Kingdom after her travel agent duped her of 20,000 British pounds.

The incident was related by a UK based lawyer who revealed that the lady in question is his client. Speaking in a video shared online, the lawyer revealed that the lady had employed the services of a travel agent who supposedly helped secure her visa to move to the country as a student. Although he didn’t divulge complete information on what led to her arrest, the man said that she had gotten the Visa and had landed in the country but was nabbed by immigration officers at the airport after discovering that she had been scammed of nearly 20 thousand pound sterling. He revealed that the embattled 20-year-old lady has been in detention at the immigration office and he’d do his best to get her out. Watch the video below:

Man reportedly runs mad after failing to repay money borrowed from loan app (Video)

A human rights activist by the name Ahmed Isa has recounted how a man became mentally deranged after he failed to pay back the money he took from a loan app.

According to the activist, a man had taken a loan of 56,000 naira from a popular loan app and was paying back in installments until he became broke. Since he was unable to pay, the loan sharks began hounding him for the money and took the drastic action of sending defamatory messages to his contacts alleging that he’s a thief and fraudster. Mr Ahmed Isa, the narrator, revealed that the man had his prospective employer (having recently gone for a job interview) on his contact and the message was also sent to him. His future father-in-law whose daughter he had sought for marriage blocked his number after the defamatory message was also sent to him. Ahmed Isa warned people against taking money from loan sharks because there are usually hidden repercussions which borrowers know nothing about. Watch the video below:

Man reportedly breaks up with girlfriend for refusing to follow ‘Davido’s No DP’ trend

A young man has broken up with his girlfriend after she refused to remove her DP on Whatsapp following the new Davido trend. A few days ago, Nigerian artist Davido took to his Instagram page to remove his DP and also delete over 5000 pictures and videos he had shared on his page the previous years leaving only three photos; his pictures, a picture of him and Chioma and their late son Ifeanyi. A few hours after deleting his DP and photos on his page, his 30BG also removed their DP and also deleted their post online.

Some fans of Davido have also removed their DPs from their social media pages in solidarity with Davido. A screenshot of a man has been shared online where he was seen asking his girlfriend to remove her DP in solidarity with Davido but she refused. The man blocked his girlfriend immediately as refusing to do so. See the screenshot below.

Famous South African model and media personality, Faith Nketsi who had been romantically linked to music star, Davido, has reportedly left her hubby, Nzuzo Njilo, for going broke.

The couple’s marriage has been on the rocks following their wedding in April 2022; they had subsequently welcomed their first child in August. City Press, a South African media outfit has reported that the socialite left the union less than a year after they became man and wife. It was also learned that sources close to the socialite disclosed to the publication that the mother of one had returned to club hosting, which she had stopped after getting married last year. The source stated: “She moved out about three weeks ago. She left Njilo and has gone back to hosting in clubs again with her friend Kim Kholiwe and making money. Just a few days ago, she was hosting at Booth Night Club, and she has put herself out there once again for the work that she used to do before she got married. “Faith has lost a lot since she married Njilo. She, like all of us, was under the impression that Njilo was monied, but he is not. She lost her Jeep, which they had to sell after sorting out another debt and then her furniture was taken by the court last year to pay the debt involving those other two guys. It is a lot in a very short space of time. Faith loves the soft life, so she went back to doing what she loves the most, which is club hosting.”

APC reportedly bribes Lagosians N1500, N2000 to vote for Sanwo-Olu

Residents of Lagos State are allegedly being offered bribes by the All Progressives Congress, APC, to vote for Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the upcoming gubernatorial and house of assembly elections on March 11.

According to a report by the Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ), two party agents were involved in this activity in Bariga and Shomolu on Sunday, offering amounts of N1500 and N2000. One individual, who received N2000, stated that he did not vote for APC during the presidential election and may choose not to vote for them in the upcoming governorship poll. “I never voted for the APC in the presidential election. That I was given N2,000 doesn’t mean I would vote for the party on Saturday. Everything is just runs,” he said. Also, a 58-year-old woman, who benefited from the N1,500 APC bribe, confirmed the fund transfer on her mobile phone. “The APC just credited me with N1,500. I voted for them at the presidential and I’ll likely do the same at the gubernatorial this coming Saturday,” she said.

Big Brother Naija star, Hermes Chibueze Iyele known mononymously as Hermes has raised alarm after being harassed by an officer of the Nigerian Police.

The dancer and fashionista took to his Instagram page to share a photo of the policeman searching his car. Hermes apparently had gone out with a friend when they were pulled up by the officer; he could be seen with a torch methodically going through the various sections of the car.

Although the policeman didn’t tell them what it was he was ransacking the car for, he was heard saying he “preaches against immorality.” The reality star said that the harassment cost him his phone which he had gotten for 1.4 million naira. Watch the video below:

Mother of late Chrisland student cries out as school reportedly demands another autopsy following burial

Mrs Adeniran, the mother of the late Chrisland student Whitney Adeniran, has revealed that the school is demanding a fresh autopsy after the girl’s burial.

You’d recall that the mother had taken to social media to cry out after her daughter died during her school’s inter-house sports. She had followed up weeks later with an update disclosing that the 12-year-old died of electrocution. Yesterday, March 2, the family buried their beloved child amidst tears and an outflow of emotions. However, the mother took to her Instagram page on March 3 to reveal that the school called the police, demanding another autopsy. She wrote: “CHRISLAND!!! Play all your games!!! They just called the police that they wanted a repeat autopsy. They want to exhume my daughter’s body for another butchering. These people are
a bunch of jokers. Chrisland, you had your own private pathologist at that autopsy examination ooo. He gave you the report, for you to even think of doing this is pure evil. May Jehovah’s anger rise hit against you. “If this is your plot to frustrate me, then get ready to lose, because you have failed!!!”

Idris Ojochenemi Akayaba, a ballot box snatcher, was reportedly shot dead in Ayangba, Kogi State while attempting to steal electoral materials during the 2023 elections.

Despite the largely free and fair elections across the country, some states, Lagos, Kogi and Borno inclusive were faced with voting difficulties at the hands of thugs and other miscreants. At the Kogi State University community polling centre on Saturday, February 25, security operatives reportedly shot Idris dead for making a run with a ballot box. Reports suggest that Akayaba had recently completed the NYSC program. His photos have circulated the internet space with questions on how he got involved in the disruption of the electoral process.

News reaching NigezieXtreme.com says that the Senatorial candidate for the Labour Party, Chief Oyibo Chukwu has been shot and killed at Enugu.

According to the report, the lawyer was said to have been attacked by some unknown gunmen while returning from a campaign trip. He was reported shot, killed and burnt in his car.

Chief Barr. Oyibo Chukwu was said to have gained popularity amongst the people of Enugu East. He was contesting the position of Senatorial candidate for the Labour Party alongside his other opponents Chimaroke Nnamani of PDP and Ada Ogbu of the APC. Watch the video below…..

A young lady has rejected the expensive and luscious gifts a man bought for her on Valentine’s Day. In the video circulating on social media, the lady was visited by a surprise company whose services had been employed by her man.

She was shown a gift box which contained a luxury wrist watch which is reported to be worth millions of naira. At first she was excited by the gift box and was further baffled when she was told that there were more gifts downstairs. Holding the box of watch and getting down, she saw a black Range Rover SUV and was told who had got her all the mouthwatering gifts.
