The president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called his contender, Atiku of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP a serial loser.

The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has queried the legal competence of the petition the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, filed to nullify his election. Tinubu, in a preliminary objection he entered before the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC, in Abuja, described the PDP candidate as a consistent serial loser that has always lost in his bid to lead the country since 1993.

Tinubu said: “The 1st petitioner (Atiku) has been consistently contesting and losing successive presidential elections in Nigeria since 1993, whether at the party primary election level or at the general election; including 1993, when he lost the Social Democratic Party (SDP) primary election to the late Chief M.K.O Abiola; 2007, when he lost the presidential election to the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua; 2011, when he lost the Peoples Democratic Party presidential primary election to President Goodluck Jonathan; 2015, when he lost the APC primary election to President Muhammadu Buhari; 2019, when he lost the presidential election to President Muhammadu Buhari; and now, 2023, when he has again, lost the presidential election to the 2nd respondent (Tinubu).”

The story was shared on the micro-blogging platform by a Twitter user identified as @Lxnwabo who said that the guy in question is his friend. According to @Lxnwabo, his friend had decided to end the relationship after the cheating girlfriend got pregnant for someone else. When they went out drinking, he overheard him telling the cheating girlfriend that he doesn’t mind being a step father to the child she’s carrying. @Lxnwabo wrote: “My friend got cheated on and the girl got pregnant 😂🤣 he said fxck it, there’s tons of girls out there. One night we went out drinking and that same night he vanished… only to find him outside on a long call telling the girl he doesn’t mind being a step father 😭😭😭 I stood there for like 3mins listening to him begging and I just went inside to drink. In the video she shared, the duo were heard having a conversation in which the guy asked her over to his place since he had apparently spent a lot on their date and had the feeling that they both connected pretty well. The lady, however, declined saying that she can’t go to his place. “Trash the open letter from Chimamanda” – Tinubu’s aide, Bayo Onanuga tells Biden

Bayo Onanuga, the media aide of president-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has told the president of United States, Joe Biden, to trash the open letter renowned author Chimamanda Adichie had written to him.

The politician stated this in a post on his official Twitter page. It was earlier reported that the novelist extraordinaire had written a letter to the USA president and the prime minister of Britain, Rishi Sunak, in which she faulted them for the congratulatory message despite irregularities which surrounded the election.

Mr Bayo Onanuga in his Twitter post dismissed her writing as fiction engendered by the loss if her tribesman. He asked the US president to trash the letter when it gets to his desk. Bayo Onanuga wrote: “Dear President Joe Biden, please just trash the open letter by Chimamanda on Nigeria’s election once it gets to your desk. She wrote fiction, inspired by the monumental loss of her tribesman Peter Obi.”
